Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones (quadricep) has struggled to stay healthy for the majority of his career, and that has remained the case this season. He's dealt with a variety of injuries that have seen him pulled from some contests and restricted in yet others.
However, he's played in all 17 games so far, which may come as a surprise to many. That's now marked just the second time in his career that he's done so. And he finished the regular season with 255 carries for 1,138 yards and five rushing touchdowns. He also caught 51 of his 62 targets for 408 yards and two scores.
So is he still hurt currently? Will he play on Monday? What's his fantasy football outlook for the game against the Los Angeles Rams?

Is Aaron Jones Hurt? Injury Update for Wild Card Weekend
He's currently dealing with a quad issue. For reference, for our money, we believe that he'll play. His career has largely been defined by playing through painful ailments, so he's no stranger to pushing through pain. And there hasn't been reporting that he's dealing with a serious issue.

Jones logged a limited practice session on both Thursday and Friday. Minnesota will practice one more time, on Saturday, so we won't know if Jones will have an injury designation heading into the game or if he'll be cleared until then. It may not matter much, though.
He's an aging veteran in one of the most brutal positions in the sport. RBs usually take a ton of massive hits throughout their careers. The Vikings would be wise to manage his workload to have him as healthy as possible for the games while still keeping him in rhythm with reps during the week.
Aaron Jones Fantasy Football Outlook for Wild Card Weekend
He'll likely continue to be the workhorse back for this offense. He was given 10 carries and six targets last week, turning those into another double-digit PPR fantasy point performance, logging his 13th of the season. He's been a consistently reliable producer.

He still has plenty of explosiveness left, and he's lucky enough to be on a great offense that has a variety of weapons that help keep defenses honest. He seems like a nearlock for 15-20 touches unless his malady is more serious than we've been led to believe.
But that seems unlikely. Another double-digit fantasy point performance is on the way, in our eyes.
