Zach Ertz Viewed As TE1 In Wild-Card Round
4 mins agoWashington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz has enjoyed a fantastic season and should be viewed as a top pick at tight end during Wild Card Weekend facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The veteran tight end has found the back of the end zone six times over his previous seven contests. Over his past two games, Ertz has seen 6.0 targets per game and has tallied 58.0 yards per game. During this stretch, he scored three times, including twice in their playoff-clinching victory over the Atlanta Falcons. With Noah Brown (kidney) on the injured reserve, Ertz should continue to see a high volume of targets his way, especially in the red zone. During this seven-game stretch, Ertz saw six targets within the five-yard line and seven within the ten-yard line. He is a high-floor TE1 with TD upside facing a struggling Tampa Bay secondary.
