With NFL playoff leagues set to begin, we've got you covered with our updated 2025 fantasy football playoff league running back rankings to help you make the best decisions for your rosters. Below, you'll see where key running backs such as Jahmyr Gibbs, Derrick Henry, Bucky Irving, David Montgomery, Kareem Hunt, and J.K. Dobbins rank for the playoffs.
Our fantasy football playoff rankings below are geared toward playoff league formats and take into account how far we think each team will get in the NFL playoffs. In most leagues, you can choose just one player from each NFL team for your roster. It's just like seasonal leagues but drafting a playoff roster. For example, if you select Bucky Irving as one of your RBs, you cannot use Mike Evans, Baker Mayfield, or Jalen McMillan. The goal is to choose the best combination of players who will play the most games (i.e., who will make it to the Super Bowl) and score the most points.
In addition to our playoff league rankings, below you will find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always vital injury situations to keep track of, so check back until kickoff. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Join A Playoff League Contest
Playoff leagues are a fun way to kick off a fresh new fantasy football contest for the 2024 NFL postseason. For most of us, we've been left with a void and that weekly excitement with season-long fantasy football leagues all wrapped up. There will be DFS contests all through the Super Bowl, but playoff league formats are really fun and replicate that season-long feel.
Most of these contests will require you to choose only a single player from each NFL team and to fill out a certain amount of roster spots at each position. There are many different contests out there, but our friends at FFPC of course hold their awesome Playoff Challenge tournaments -- including one with a $500K grand prize to the first-place winner.
