Punahele Soriano (10-4) is set to take on Uros Medic in the main card opener of UFC Vegas 101 on Saturday. Soriano dropped down to welterweight in his last fight and dominated Miguel Baeza and now gets a tougher test in Medic. The Hawaiian is the underdog as DraftKings has him at a salary of $7,500. In the UFC, Soriano is 4-4 with three wins by knockout while he's been finished twice. If Soriano can pull off the upset, he could be a win away from a ranked opponent.--Cole Shelton

Punahele Soriano suffered a second-round submission loss to Dustin Stoltzfus at UFC Austin. Soriano was 1-3 in the last four fights while Stoltzfus was 1-4 in the last five. In the second round, Soriano was over-committing to the left hand and seemed to have slowed down quite a bit from the pace in the first. Stoltzfus was able to capitalize and take Soriano down, which led to him taking the back of Soriano and submitting him. In 9:10 of action, Soriano landed 31 significant strikes. The loss moves Soriano to 3-4 and puts him in danger of being cut from the UFC. --Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
