Brock Faber Out On Thursday
43 seconds agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) will not play in Thursday's contest against Colorado. The talented blue-liner was injured on Tuesday versus Boston and could be absent for multiple games. Jonas Brodin (lower body) has also been ruled out for Thursday, leaving the Wild defense short of quality. Team captain Jared Spurgeon (lower body) has already sat out three games. Due to the injuries, Zach Bogosian will skate with Jake Middleton on the first defensive pairing, with Jon Merrill and Declan Chisholm forming the second pairing. David Jiricek will make his Wild debut on the third defensive pairing. Chisholm will have the most fantasy value among the Wild defensemen, as he's expected to skate with the first power-play unit.
