Raiders Request To Interview Steve Spagnuolo For Head-Coaching Role
1 day agoThe Las Vegas Raiders have requested to interview Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo for their vacant head-coaching position, according to NFL insider Dianna Russini. Spagnuolo was the head coach for the Saint Louis Rams from 2009 to 2011, compiling a 10-38 record. Since then, he held roles as the Saints, Giants, and Chiefs defensive coordinator, and he recently became the only coordinator in NFL history to win four Super Bowls. Spagnuolo's defenses have kept the Chiefs at the top of the NFL despite its offense coming down to earth in recent years, and the Raiders have had a front-row seat as AFC West rivals.
