Brock Faber Sustains Injury On Tuesday
1 day agoAccording to the team, Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber (upper body) sustained an injury during Tuesday's contest. The 22-year-old logged just over four minutes of ice time before sustaining the injury. Fantasy managers should keep an eye on his status before their next game against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday evening. Faber has been a critical part of Minnesota's defense all season. Faber has averaged just under 25 minutes of ice time per night and tallied 20 points across 41 games. He has registered 54 blocks and 15 hits. This is another tough blow for Minnesota's defense, as Jared Spurgeon (lower body) is already on the injured reserve. Travis Dermott would draw into the starting lineup if Faber were to miss time.
