The New York Jets requested to interview Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores for their head-coach opening, according to a source. In addition to Flores, the Jets have either requested head-coach interviews or are planning to with Rex Ryan, Ron Rivera, Mike Vrabel, Vance Joseph, Matt Nagy and Arthur Smith, all of which have prior head-coaching experience in the NFL. Flores went 24-25 as the head coach of the Miami Dolphins over three seasons, later suing the league and multiple teams for discrimination. Since then, he coached the Pittsburgh Steelers' linebackers in 2022 and has been with the Vikings the last two seasons. He helped Minnesota to a 14-3 record this year, and despite his previous lawsuit against the league, he's drawing interest as a head coach again from multiple teams.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
