CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (12/31/24)

Norchad Omier - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

We're finishing off 2024 in style with conference play opening for many college basketball teams. The pre-conference season was a blast this year, but now the stakes are just a little bit higher. We start this off in the Loud House with Wake visiting. Utah is heading down to Waco to take on Baylor. West Virginia heads to Lawrence to take on Kansas. Central Florida heads to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech. The last of the earlier tips takes Seton Hall to Cincinnati to take on Xavier.

Next up is Notre Dame in Atlanta to take on Georgia Tech. St. John's will ring in the new year in Omaha after a game at the Birdcage. Arizona State heads up to Provo to take on BYU. Virginia Tech will be hanging out with the Cameron Crazies in Durham. We close this out in Providence with Marquette taking on the Friars.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 12/31/24, starting at 2 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Kam Jones, Marquette ($10.6K)

An underrated part of Jones's game that few people talk about is his ability to facilitate the offense while rarely turning the ball over. Most college fans know that Jones can score with the best of them. Most don't realize the work he does to take care of the ball and value possessions.

DFS players notice. We aren't losing a few more points to turnovers. Even when Jones is not scoring at his best, he's still a DFS asset. Georgia is the only team to hold him under 30 DraftKings points when he played more than 25 minutes. Providence, though good, is not Georgia.

Steven Ashworth, Creighton ($8.9K)

Ashworth's shooting helped Creighton reach heights never attained by the program before last season. This season he is much more than a scorer. Ashworth is averaging 6.4 assists per game this year as well, topping that average in three of the last four games. Ashworth has at least 32 DraftKings points in every December game. He has helped Creighton survive the loss of Pop Isaacs so far.

Isaiah Coleman, Seton Hall ($7.3K)

Since the tough loss to NJIT, Coleman has taken on more of a scoring role for the Pirates. It hasn't resulted in wins yet, but the Hall keeps getting close. Coleman has at least 32 DraftKings points in four straight games and has just missed a double-double by one rebound in the last two games. He has been performing above his price point lately.

Sencire Harris, West Virginia ($4.5K)

Harris didn't make any of his seven shots against Mercy. That showcases his floor. If Harris isn't hitting shots, he's an anchor dragging your lineup down. Harris plays a lot of minutes and has been getting more shots with Tucker DeVries out. He's a good boom-or-bust option who is more likely to boom at this price.

Also consider: Deivon Smith, St. John's ($9K); Kadary Richmond, St. John's ($8.2K); Jordan Ivy-Curry, Central Florida ($7.5K); Zeke Mayo, Kansas ($6.6K); Stevie Mitchell, Marquette ($5.9K); Marcus Foster, Xavier ($5.5K); Christian Anderson, Texas Tech ($5K); Elijah Moore, Syracuse ($4.4K); Langston Love, Baylor ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Norchad Omier, Baylor ($10.3K)

We do have to take a monster performance against Arlington Baptist with a grain of salt, but that game showed Omier's immense upside. Is he going to do that against Utah? No, but he still has a shot at hitting 50 DraftKings points.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($8K)

Ndongo had two solid games against the Irish last season. This Notre Dame team has some similarities to last year, but they may be even smaller upfront. The ceiling on Ndongo is very high, even if we haven't seen it much this year. We still know it's there.

Eddie Lampkin Jr., Syracuse ($5.7K)

Lampkin has adapted well to life in the ACC. He has at least 25 DraftKings points in each of the last four games. He's still a force on the boards, but Lampkin is showing more polish on offense than he did at TCU. He's still inconsistent on the offensive end, but he's had more hits than misses lately. A sustained breakout could be coming.

Jackson McAndrew, Creighton ($4.4K)

McAndrew has scored in double figures in three straight games. The freshman has stepped up his scoring with Pop Isaacs out. He's still inconsistent on peripherals, but he is one of the better shooters that Creighton has. We'll see plenty of McAndrew again.

Also consider: Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's ($9.8K); Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($9.5K); Tae Davis, Notre Dame ($7.9K); David Joplin, Marquette ($6.8K); Josh Ojianwuna, Baylor ($5.4K); Duncan Powell, Georgia Tech ($4.8K); Jerome Hunter, Xavier ($4.5K); Eduardo Andre, West Virginia ($4.2K)
