We kick off with Detroit's Game Above Sports Bowl featuring Pitt and Toledo. Up next is the Rate Bowl in Phoenix pitting Kansas State against Rutgers. We finish in Mobile with the 68 Ventures Bowl between Arkansas State and Bowling Green.
In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/26/24, starting at 2 p.m. Eastern. I’ll give multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower end. DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Avery Johnson, Kansas State ($7.7K)
What a beaut ??

For every dime like this, he makes a half-dozen throws that leave fans scratching their heads. That's the Avery Johnson experience. However, with DJ Giddens declaring for the draft and Jayce Brown (maybe) transferring, it's Johnson or nothing for K-State. He was already a large part of the offense. Now, he's going to be the offense.
Connor Bazelak, Bowling Green ($6.3K)
It's the swan song for the best player in Bowling Green history. The Falcons are going to want to send him out the right way. That means Bazelak has to throw him the ball. We could see a different Bowling Green offense in this game and I'm all for it!
Also consider: Tucker Gleason, Toledo ($7.7K); Jaylen Raynor, Arkansas State ($7.2K); Athan Kaliakmanis, Rutgers ($6K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Desmond Reid, Pittsburgh ($9.2K)
Desmond Reid will play for Pitt next season. This announcement comes via his Instagram. pic.twitter.com/kmCR4LeyZ7

I'll start this by saying that I'll move off Reid if Eli Holstein is at full strength. I still expect Pitt to win handily with or without Holstein, but Reid will have a tougher time paying off this tag with Holstein stealing some stats. Reid recommitting to Pitt is a huge boost for the Panthers offense.
Jaison Patterson, Bowling Green ($5.4K)
Terion Stewart has said that he is playing in this game, but his signing with Virginia Tech could change that stance. It would be nice of the Hokies to let him have one last ride with his former team, but that is far from normal for anyone in the portal, let alone someone who has already chosen a new home.
If Stewart doesn't sit, he's a no-brainer. If he does sit, Patterson becomes an intriguing option. He was a solid backup to Stewart this year and played well when he was in there.
Also consider: Zak Wallace, Arkansas State ($5.1K); Dylan Edwards, Kansas State ($4.5K); Antwan Raymond, Rutgers ($3.6K)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Harold Fannin Jr., Bowling Green ($9.1K)
With the completion of the @CFBPlayoff game at Penn State today, Harold Fannin Jr. is the only opponent in 2024 to notch 100+ receiving yards (11-137-1) in Beaver Stadium.

Fannin is a likely first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but he is coming back for one last game with his teammates. They aren't going to let him ride off without an all-time game. Fannin should have won the Mackey award, but the ESPN hype train that despises anything and anyone that isn't a blue-blood brand tilted the scales toward Tyler Warren.
I'm not going to say that Warren didn't deserve the award. I have watched a lot of both players this year. Warren is great. Fannin is even better. We'll see it in this game.
Corey Rucker, Arkansas State ($5.5K)
Rucker has been toiling away in obscurity that only Jonesboro, Ark., can provide. Here's the thing, though: he's really good. Rucker fell victim to poor quarterback play and a more run-oriented offense this year, but his skills didn't diminish. Bowling Green's defense has been as bad as Harold Fannin Jr. is good. Rucker could go off in a game that will be heavily attended by pro scouts.
Jayce Brown, Kansas State ($4.4K)

There are rumors that Brown is in the transfer portal but it has been largely viewed as a leverage play on his part. The rumor first started before Kansas State's loss to Iowa State on November 30. Brown is by far Johnson's favorite receiver and the K-State offense is much better with him in it. That's not usually true of a player priced in this range. If Brown plays (he seems to be), lock him in!
Also consider: Jerjuan Newton, Toledo ($7.2K); Junior Vandeross III, Toledo ($6.1K); Kenny Johnson, Pittsburgh ($4.2K)
DraftKings CFB Stacks
Bowling Green
This is a big stack if Terion Stewart plays. If he plays, I want Stewart, Fannin, and maybe Malcolm Johnson Jr. If Stewart is out, I will add Bazelak and Patterson to Fannin.
Also consider: Pittsburgh, Arkansas State
