Fantasy Football Injury Update For James Conner
Conner left Sunday’s 36-30 loss to the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury. The veteran had 15 rushing attempts for 117 yards, a touchdown, four receptions for 49 receiving yards, and 24.6 half-point PPR fantasy points before leaving the game. However, head coach Jonathan Gannon suggests Conner’s injury isn’t serious, giving him a chance to play in Week 17.
“We’ll see how it goes throughout the week. I know he wants to play.”

Yet, fantasy players should prepare to be without the veteran running back for the rest of the season. The Arizona Cardinals are eliminated from the playoffs. Therefore, the team has no reason to play Conner again this year.
Fantasy Football Injury Update For Tank Dell
The 2024 season has been frustrating for Dell and his fantasy manager. However, he had an outstanding performance on Saturday, totaling six receptions on seven targets for 98 receiving yards, a touchdown, and a season-high 18.8 half-point PPR fantasy points. Unfortunately, the star receiver suffered a gruesome injury, dislocating his knee. Dell also suffered a torn ACL and other damage.

Unfortunately, the second-year pro’s season is over. Furthermore, Dell will likely miss significant time recovering from the gruesome injury next year. Fantasy players might not see him on the field again until 2026.
Fantasy Football Injury Update For George Pickens
Pickens has played well since Russell Wilson took over under center, scoring 12.9 or more half-point PPR fantasy points in 66.7% of the games. However, the star wide receiver has missed the past three games with a hamstring injury. Reportedly, he had a real chance to play on Saturday, but the Pittsburgh Steelers wanted to be cautious.
Thankfully, the star wide receiver is on track to return on Christmas Day against the Kansas City Chiefs. While the matchup isn’t ideal for fantasy players, Pickens is a borderline must-start WR3 this week.
