Merry Christmas, RotoBallers! We have a banger of a Christmas slate as the teams that just played Saturday night switch up their matchups, and this one is a big one. The AFC North is still up for grabs, making this a huge one for the Baltimore Ravens (10-5) as they take on the Houston Texans (9-6). I hope everyone has a great Christmas, and let's make some extra cash!
We have been pretty successful with these showdown slates, and hopefully, that trend will continue from last year into this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with an in-depth analysis regarding positional matchups.
I will provide you with my daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Ravens vs. Texans NFL DFS showdown slate on December 25. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain Plays
Lamar Jackson - QB, Baltimore Ravens - $16.5K (DK), $15.5K (FD)
Key Stats
- 2024 Stats: 3,787 passing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, 4 interceptions, 765 rushing yards, three rushing touchdowns
Lamar Jackson is the clear No. 1 option on this slate, he has scored 20+ FP in all but two matchups this season and I don't see him slowing down, especially with the division on the line. Houston has been solid against QBs this season. But they did give up a 15-yard rushing touchdown to Mahomes last week, they can't let that happen this week and I don't think they will be able to stop the dual-threat QB.

37 pTDs
4 picks
51 rushing yards per game

Nico Collins- WR, Houston Texans - $17.1K (DK), $13.5K (FD)
Key Stats
- 2024 Stats: 80 targets, 60 receptions, 909 receiving yards, six touchdowns
Tank Dell stole the show last week; unfortunately, his day ended with a terrible knee injury. This bodes well for Nico Collins though, as the Ravens are giving up the second most fantasy points to opposing WRs this season! He also should be lining up against Brandon Stephens who is giving up .25 FP per route run this season.
Even with Diontae Johnson joining the Texans WR core, I don't believe he will be acquainted with the offense enough to take away from Nico.
Other Captains/MVPs: C.J. Stroud, Joe Mixon, Derrick Henry,

DFS Flex Plays
Mark Andrews - TE, Baltimore Ravens - $5.8K (DK), $10.5K (FD)
Key Stats
- 2024 Stats: 59 targets, 49 receptions, 551 receiving yards, nine touchdowns
Mark Andrews is finally back in form after a rough start to the season. He has scored a touchdown in five of these last six games and has had at least 10+ FP in those same games. He has been playing in roughly 70% of snaps recently, and with Justice Hill likely out, Andrews could see extra targets in those check-down-type plays. Houston is also giving up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing TEs this season.
Dalton Schultz - TE, Houston Texans - $5.2K (DK), $10K (FD)
Dalton Schultz might have benefited the most from the Tank Dell injury. Dalton saw eight targets in last week's matchup against the Chiefs, this is only the second time he has seen that this season. He also got his second touchdown of the season. Dalton doesn't have much competition for snaps at TE so his role is very secure and he should continue to see plenty of targets going forward.
Other Flex Options: Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, Ka'imi Fairbairn, Isaiah Likely
DFS Value Plays
Tylan Wallace - WR, Baltimore Ravens - $1.6K (DK), $6.5K (FD)
Zay Flowers is dealing with an injury and Nelson Agholor is likely out this week once again. In last week's game, Tylan played 40% of snaps. This one is a bit of a shot in the dark, but he doesn't need much to get value. At sub 2k on DK, it'll make it very easy to get some of the top guys on the slate.

Robert Woods - WR, Houston Texans - $4.8K (DK), $8K (FD)
I'm going back to Robert Woods, he saw six targets in last week's matchup, although John Metchie III is back. Tank Dell has gone down with an injury and that should lead to Woods playing in upwards of 60% of snaps in this matchup. It could be a toss-up as to who ends up getting targeted but if I'm betting on anyone it's going to be the veteran Robert Woods.
Other Value Plays: John Metchie, Justin Tucker
Enjoy your week, and good luck, everyone!
