Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist, rest) was officially a non-participant in his team's first practice of Week 16. It's been the veteran's routine for some time now -- kicking off Miami's week of practice listed as either a limited participant or DNP each week since Week 11. Fellow wideouts Jaylen Waddle (knee) and Dee Eskridge (knee) were also tagged with DNPs, though their status for Sunday's meeting with the visiting San Francisco 49ers is far less certain. Fantasy managers should not be concerned about Hill's status for now. The 30-year-old could be in store for all the work he could handle in Week 16 if his teammates cannot play. Currently, the only other active Miami wide receivers without a designation are Malik Washington and River Cracraft.--Alex Ciulla

Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said that the team isn't pursuing a trade of All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and no team has called them attempting to trade for Hill. Grier joked that if a team called to offer the Dolphins two first-round picks for Hill, they'd maybe consider it. Hill, who had a disappointing 2024 campaign by his standards while battling through a left-wrist injury that required surgery, insinuated he'd be heading out of town after the season finale last year. However, he later went back on his statements and said he made them out of frustration after missing the playoffs. The 31-year-old speedster could easily bounce back in 2025 with better health, unfortunately his fantasy value is also tied to oft-injured quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The eight-time Pro Bowler finished shy of 1,000 receiving yards last year for the first time since 2019, when he played in just 12 games in KC.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team reports that per Sunny Isles Police Department, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has not committed a crime, and the investigation of a domestic incident involving him has already been closed. The veteran was apparently engaged in some domestic dispute on Wednesday with his wife at their high-rise condominium in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Exactly what occurred is unclear, but the police were called after Hill reportedly threw a laptop. Fortunately, the 31-year-old was able to avoid trouble, as this would be just another incident in a string of off-the-field issues for him dating back to last year. After a down 2024, Hill's price in fantasy drafts this summer should be lower than in years past. It's possible he's lost a step at his age, but a productive season is very much still in his range of outcomes.--Alex Ciulla

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that the team has wide receiver Tyreek Hill are fully planning on moving forward together for the 2025 season at this time, but the head coach also noted that things happen in the NFL. Hill pulled himself from the Week 18 regular-season finale against the New York Jets and said after the game that, "I'm out." The 31-year-old speedy wideout later went back on his words and said, "I don't want to go nowhere." The Cheetah could have just been voicing his frustrations in a disappointing season for the Dolphins in which he battled a wrist injury all year. Hill later had surgery on his wrist to fix a ligament issue, but he's expected to be fully healed for the start of the 2025 campaign. Hill took a fall in fantasy, but it didn't help that QB Tua Tagovailoa missed six games. He's still a WR1 in fantasy, but with the injury risk surrounding Tua, Hill is no longer a lock as a high-end WR1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters on Tuesday that wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) underwent surgery on his left wrist this offseason to fix a ligament issue, which will keep him out for most of the offseason. The 30-year-old Cheetah dealt with his wrist injury for much of last season, which helps explain some of his drop in production, but he never actually missed a game because of it. While he won't take part in the majority of offseason workouts, Hill should be ready to go for training camp in the summer. Hill was upset after the Week 18 regular-season finale and said he wanted out of Miami, but he has since toned down that stance and said he was merely frustrated over the team's disappointing 2024 campaign that ended without a playoff appearance. The five-time All-Pro fell short of 1,000 receiving yards for just the third time in his nine NFL seasons in 2024 but could be a nice value pick in fantasy this fall.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
