David Montgomery Injury Update
Montgomery (knee) will undergo season-ending surgery soon. As the Lions finish their regular season and embark on the playoffs, they'll lean on Jahmyr Gibbs to handle an even heavier workload.
Now confirmed: Lions HC Dan Campbell said RB David Montgomery will undergo season-ending knee surgery. “We're going to miss him,” Campbell told reporters.

Alvin Kamara Injury Update
Kamara (groin) is dealing with an issue with the groin adductor that interim head coach Darren Rizzi described as "very minor." He'll continue to be evaluated, but there's a real chance that Kamara will suit up in Week 16.
Darren Rizzi on Alvin Kamara: "We got some imaging back. He's kind of dealing with a little bit of a groin adductor type of situation. Something that was very, very minor, I think he kind of felt it on that diving touchdown catch. ... He's going to get a couple of more opinions."

Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Walker (calf) had a good workout on Monday but remains up in the air for Week 16. Head coach Mike Macdonald said that Wednesday's injury report could provide more clarity on the running back's status.
Ken Walker III (calf) had a good workout today and feels good but his status is still up in the air, Macdonald says.
“We’ll see on Wednesday.”

Sincere McCormick Injury Update
McCormick (ankle) suggested on Instagram that his season is over. The Raiders have not confirmed this news yet, but the source is certainly reliable. If true, Alexander Mattison would return to the lead-back role.
Sincere McCormick on his IG story says he'll be back "next season." #Raiders

Jaleel McLaughlin Injury Update
McLaughlin (quad) was estimated as a limited participant following Tuesday's walkthrough. If active on Thursday night, he'll be a low-end flex option while splitting opportunities with Javonte Williams.
Nick Chubb Injury Update
Chubb (foot) broke his left foot on Sunday. His season is officially over. The Browns will rely on Jerome Ford to lead their backfield going forward.

Trey Benson Injury Update
Benson (ankle) couldn't finish Sunday's game, but the Cardinals haven't provided any additional information on his status. This is unfortunate timing for the Cardinals, who placed fellow bench running back Emari Demercado on injured reserve just last week.
Some injury updates from Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon (both to us reporters and @BurnsAndGambo):
- Max Melton "is going to end up OK."
- Trey Benson is still being evaluated
- Mack Wilson Sr. is doing OK and is in good spirits— Tyler Drake (@Tdrake4sports) December 16, 2024
