Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Diontae Johnson has been unstartable, and in fact, unrosterable, since the Carolina Panthers traded him to his new team. There are a few reasons for this, but chiefly they revolve around character issues, when Johnson is ignominiously known for.
He was seen as a diva with the Pittsburgh Steelers, which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone who knows about their history with... interesting personalities at that position. It says something that he's the only player RotoBaller has an article about today on the status of the remainder of their season.
So will DJ miss the rest of the year?

Is Diontae Johnson Out For The Season?
As of right now, he's not ruled out for the rest of the season, but he was suspended by the Ravens for their Week 15 game against the New York Giants for conduct detrimental to the team. And while that suspension was lifted, it was reported that he and the team agreed to excuse him from all activities for Week 16.

Maybe they're fed up with him, maybe he's fed up with not being the clear No. 1 receiving option and flexing his talents for the world to see. Maybe he just hates blocking. Regardless, it's been a wild fall off from a player that was putting up genuine WR1 numbers earlier in the year.

Sometimes, the play on the field is poetic, and for Johnson, it was in all the wrong ways. He didn't waltz in and immediately become a target hog. In the limited opportunities he got to produce, he didn't succeed. And he certainly wasn't a team player. Whether his season is over doesn't matter for fantasy managers, anyway.
He won't produce this season. Baltimore is perfectly happy with their pass-catching corps of wide receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, tight end Mark Andrews, and running back Justice Hill. They are a run-first team anyway, so that's enough firepower for them. Johnson doesn't appear to have a place in this offense, and he probably won't be with the team next year.
