Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (ankle) will play on Saturday against the Bucks. The 23-year-old has had an excellent 2024-25 campaign, averaging 19.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.1 blocks. He's also missed only two games after appearing in 56 last season. With that in mind, Johnson is a must-start fantasy option, although his presence will mean fewer scoring opportunities and minutes for De'Andre Hunter (knee), who was also cleared to suit up for Saturday's NBA Cup contest.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) is sidelined indefinitely. The 23-year-old has had the best season of his career, averaging 18.9 points, 10.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.6 steals. He recently missed time because of right shoulder inflammation. However, Johnson exited Thursday's loss to the Toronto Raptors after sustaining a left shoulder injury. He'll undergo further testing, with the team providing an update "as appropriate." Trae Young and De'Andre Hunter have benefited the most in games without Johnson in the lineup. But players like Keaton Wallace and Vit Krejci could also see a bump in fantasy production.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) is good to go for Thursday's meeting with the Raptors. The 23-year-old missed time recently because of shoulder inflammation. While the ailment has kept him on the injury report since returning, it won't keep him off the floor against Toronto. With that in mind, Johnson is a must-start versus the Raptors, a team that has allowed 117.9 points per contest during the 2024-25 campaign, the fifth-worst mark in the NBA.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) is probable for Thursday night's home game against the Raptors. He missed five games earlier this month while playing through shoulder soreness but has been able to play each of the last three games for the Hawks. He has played at least 35 minutes in those games and posted a double-double in road games against the Celtics and Knicks. He finished one rebound short of another double-double on Wednesday against the Pistons, totaling 17 points, nine rebounds, and four assists in his 38 minutes. It appears as if he'll continue to play through the injury and be good to go on the second game of the back-to-back and will be in a favorable matchup on Thursday night.--Zach Thompson - RotoBaller

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (shoulder) will be active against Detroit on Wednesday. He has shaken off a questionable tag ahead of the contest and will take the court for a third consecutive game. Johnson recently missed five games due to shoulder inflammation, and his shooting has been off since his return. Atlanta's rising star has managed only 9-for-25 from the field over the past two games. He has finished four consecutive appearances without at least 20 points for the first time this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
