CBB DFS: Night DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (12/14/24)

Mark Sears - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's Night DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 12/14/24. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have the first major bowl game tonight, but I can guarantee you that the basketball games will be far more entertaining! The stars are out on the night slate. We have four games and all of them are huge!

We begin in Madison Square Garden with Gonzaga taking on Connecticut. Next up is Bedlam from Oklahoma City. Hey, at least they didn't kill the basketball version like they did the football version! Next is Creighton and Alabama from Tuscaloosa. We close out the night in Idaho Falls with St. Mary's facing Boise State.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 12/14/24, starting at 8 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Mark Sears, Alabama ($8.5K)

This is the first game since Alabama "figured out" what is wrong with his shot from distance, so I'm curious to see if Sears lights up Creighton. Sears has scored 79 points in the last four games despite only hitting 10-of-35 three-point shots. If he gets back close to 40%, he's going to break some slates.

Augustas Marciulionis, St. Mary's ($7.8K)

Marciulionis isn't quite the sharpshooter that his dad was. That may come with more experience. Marciulionis is at his best creating for teammates and is good at creating his own shot. Just give him the ball and let him go!

Hassan Diarra, Connecticut ($5.9K)

Diarra is one of the more consistent contributors in college, but I only pay attention to him on smaller slates or when his price gets low enough to grab my attention. Call it a combination of both tonight. Diarra isn't much of a scorer, but he's a strong defender and a great passer. If he starts hitting shots with consistency, look out!

Arturo Dean, Oklahoma State ($4.7K)

Dean isn't much of a scorer, so I feel okay using him against a good Oklahoma defense. Dean's value is as a passer and on defense. He should still be able to wreak enough havoc to have a productive day for DFS purposes.

Also consider: Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga ($8.8K); Jeremiah Fears, Oklahoma ($8.1K); Alvaro Cardenas, Boise State ($7.4K); Solo Ball, Connecticut ($5.2K); Khalil Brantley, Oklahoma State ($4.8K); Aden Holloway, Alabama ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Alex Karaban, Connecticut ($8.6K)

Karaban is the elder statesman on this team, but something is different with Karaban this year. He dominated a very good Texas front last week, notching his first double-double of the season. Karaban has always been a good defender, but he never racked up the stats like he has this year. He didn't need to.

First, it was Adama Sanogo beside him. Then Donovan Clingan. Now it's Karaban as the glass cleaner and rim protector...while somehow still finding time to pop out and make a few threes.

Liam McNeeley, Connecticut ($7.2K)

McNeeley is the perfect compliment to Karaban up front. He's playing the role that Karaban knows so well. However, as we saw with Karaban in that role, it's not always conducive to DFS success. McNeeley is more of a consistent scorer than Karaban was in this role, but there is still risk involved.

Clifford Omoruyi, Alabama ($4.4K)

Omoruyi is finally carving out a role on this team. He has outplayed Mouhamed Dioubate in recent weeks and is starting to take his minutes. It has been a slow process and this is still a fluid situation, but there's potential for Omoruyi. He played well against the strong fronts of Oregon and North Carolina.

Also consider: Jamiya Neal, Creighton ($8.7K); Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8.3K); Paulius Murauskas, St. Mary's ($7.6K); Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($7.1K); Abou Ousmane, Oklahoma State ($6K); Robert Jennings II, Oklahoma State ($4.3K)
