Week 15 Defense Outlooks for Fantasy Football
Washington Commanders DST - Fantasy Football Outlook
The Washington Commanders' defense should be viewed as a high-end streaming option facing a depleted New Orleans Saints offense. With Derek Carr (hand/concussion) banged up, the Saints are turning to Jake Haener to operate as the QB1.
Haener will have a difficult task ahead of him as his top wide receivers, Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee), and tight end Taysom Hill (knee) will not be available. The Saints have also not scored more than 14 points in each of their past two games.
In addition, the Commanders will welcome four-time Pro Bowler Marshon Lattimore to their starting lineup. In their previous game, the Commanders tallied two sacks and allowed 19 points to the Tennessee Titans. Given New Orleans' struggles, the Commanders should be poised for a nice showing and have a clear path to a top-5 finish this weekend.

Philadelphia Eagles DST - Fantasy Football Outlook
The Philadelphia Eagles defense/special teams unit will look to impose their will as they host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a Week 15 matchup that could turn into a defensive battle. They also lead the NFL yards allowed per game (284.2) and rank eighth in total sacks, though their takeaway production has been relatively average.
The Steelers, averaging 24.8 points per game (10th in the league), could present a challenge, but the potential absence of wide receiver George Pickens (hamstring) may force Pittsburgh to rely more heavily on their ground game, led by Najee Harris.
The Eagles' ability to contain the run and apply pressure to quarterback Russell Wilson could be crucial to their Week 15 success. Start them as a mid-tier D/ST option.

New York Jets DST - Fantasy Football Outlook
The New York Jets defense struggled in a Week 14 loss, allowing the Miami Dolphins to post a 32-point game. They have a good chance to bounce back in a road matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15.
The Jaguars have been a good matchup for fantasy D/STs this season, allowing the 12th-most fantasy points per game to the position. That number doesn't even account for how bad the team's offense has been under Mac Jones since Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) has been injured as Jones has thrown for just two touchdowns and five interceptions on the year.
Fantasy managers can consider New York's defense a top-15 option heading into Week 15.
