NFL Week 15 Fantasy Football Weather Report

Jameis Winston - NFL DFS Picks, Waiver Wire, Fantasy Football Rankings

The fantasy football playoffs are here! But that also means the weather is taking a turn for the worse. And in the NFL, weather can significantly impact games, particularly as we head into the colder months of the season. In this article, we will examine how various weather elements could influence the games scheduled for Week 15 of the 2024 season and what implications this may have.

We will rely on the most accurate and up-to-date weather forecasts for each stadium from AccuWeather, a source that provides comprehensive weather maps. Factors such as temperature, precipitation, wind speed/direction, and visibility can play a crucial role in shaping game outcomes and statistics.

Our goal with this article is to assist you in making informed decisions for your fantasy teams and other betting activities, allowing you to capitalize on opportunities or navigate challenges posed by weather dynamics. Here is your comprehensive fantasy football weather report for Week 15 of the 2024 season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for the 2025 playoffs:

Dome Games (No Weather Impact)

Some games in Week 15 will benefit from being played in domed stadiums, where the weather won't affect the outcome. These indoor venues provide a consistent environment.

  • Washington Commanders at New Orleans Saints
  • Miami Dolphins at Houston Texans
  • Buffalo Bills at Detroit Lions
  • New England Patriots at Arizona Cardinals
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Los Angeles Chargers
  • Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
  • Atlanta Falcons at Las Vegas Raiders

Minimal Weather Impact

These outdoor games in Week 15 don't appear to have very many weather concerns.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans (Sunday, 12/15 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals head to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Field. Rain is in the forecast, but it could end before kickoff. Winds will be somewhat gusty at 20+ miles per hour (mph) but are expected to die down throughout the day.

The weather conditions in this game bear monitoring leading up to kickoff, but you're not sitting anyone of note on the Bengals side of the ball (Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins).

For the Titans, Will Levis isn't a great option to begin with, so you're probably not starting him anyway. The kicking games for both teams could be impacted, so consider other options at the kicker position. Chase Brown, Tony Pollard, and Tyjae Spears could all be pretty busy in this one.

Baltimore Ravens at New York Giants (Sunday, 12/15 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

Conditions appear to be pretty good in East Rutherford, N.J., when the Ravens travel up I-95 to take on the Giants on Sunday. Highs will be in the upper 30s with a light wind and just an 8% chance of precipitation.

The Ravens are heavy 16-point favorites in this one, so don't expect much scoring to come from Tommy DeVito, Malik Nabers, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. On the Ravens side, Derrick Henry might rush for 250 yards and two touchdowns at MetLife Stadium.

Dallas Cowboys at Carolina Panthers (Sunday, 12/15 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

The weather looks like it'll cooperate in Charlotte, N.C., on Sunday when the Cowboys come into town to take on the Panthers. It'll be around 50 degrees with just a slight chance of rain and light winds at 5-10 mph.

Fire up studs CeeDee Lamb and Rico Dowdle for the Cowboys, as well as Chuba Hubbard and Adam Thielen for the Panthers. Yes, Thielen has been ballin' the last two weeks, averaging 100.5 receiving yards on 10.5 targets. Bryce Young appears to be completely rejuvenated after a few weeks of watching from the sidelines.

New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, 12/15 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

There are no weather concerns on Sunday in Jacksonville for the Jets vs. Jaguars contest. It might be a bit breezy, but nothing substantial that will affect any aspect of the game. Winds will be sustained around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. It'll be partly cloudy with high temperatures in the low 70s. Near-perfect conditions for December football.

Garrett Wilson hasn't found the end zone since Week 9, but that could change in Week 15 going up against a Jaguars team that allows one touchdown per game to opposing receivers. They also give up the third-most receiving yards to opposing wideouts, so this could be his moment.

Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos (Sunday, 12/15 at 4:25 p.m. ET)

Another game, another city with more beautiful weather conditions. Not a cloud will be in the sky when the Colts take on the Broncos in the Mile High City. It'll be in the low 50s with winds around 10-12 mph. Jonathan Taylor will look to eclipse 20 fantasy points for the first time since Week 3, while Bo Nix and Courtland Sutton will look to continue their dominant stretch of performances. Play ball!

Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles (Sunday, 12/15 at 4:25 p.m. ET)

Rain is coming to the Philadelphia area, but it looks like it'll hold off until after the Steelers vs. Eagles game that kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET. It'll be chilly, with highs hovering around 35-36 degrees. However, there will be little to no wind, so the real feel temperature should be around the actual temperature.

If you believe in squeaky wheel narratives, this could be a big A.J. Brown game. But if the Steelers decide to double him, we could also be looking at a sneaky good DeVonta Smith game as well. Either way, the weather won't get in the way of this heavyweight matchup in South Philadelphia.

Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks (Sunday, 12/15 at 8:20 p.m. ET)

It's looking like a rainy few days in Seattle this weekend, but that's pretty typical this time of year. That being said, it doesn't look like too much precipitation on Sunday night when the Seahawks play host to the Packers. Winds will also be relatively light at just 5 mph with gusts around 15-20 mph. Don't let the wind keep you from firing up your guys in this one.

Severe Weather Impact

Let's focus on matchups where weather conditions could substantially influence the game.

Kansas City Chiefs at Cleveland Browns (Sunday, 12/15 at 1:00 p.m. ET)

It's shaping up to be a rainy and windy day in Cleveland, Ohio, for the Chiefs vs. Browns game. The forecast calls for rain throughout the day with sustained winds out of the southeast at around 18 mph, gusting up to 30 mph.

While it might not be a washout, wet and windy conditions could lead to some issues in both the kicking and passing games. Jameis Winston has been on a tear, but the conditions in this one could lead to more interceptions than touchdowns. That could affect Jerry Jeudy as well, who has been one of the top producers at the wide receiver position in recent weeks.

Check back on the conditions in Cleveland on Sunday morning, as there's always a chance the forecast takes a turn for the worse (or better in some instances).
