CBB DFS: DraftKings Afternoon Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (12/7/24)

Ryan Kalkbrenner - College Basketball Rankings, NCAA CBB DFS Lineup Picks

We have a big day of college basketball in front of us today and I'll be with you the whole way! We have some big games going on in the afternoon. We have several top teams in action, starting with UNLV visiting the Birdcage in Omaha to face the Blue Jays.

Washington State heads to Boise to take on the (still partying) Broncos. Florida State heads up to Raleigh to face the Pack. Stanford heads over to Berkeley to take on Cal. Butler is in Houston to face the Cougars. We end in Seattle with USC facing Washington.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks on DraftKings on 12/7/24, starting at 4 p.m. EST. I’ll give multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Jaylen Blakes, Stanford ($8.3K)

The Duke transfer has been a star for the Cardinal so far. Blakes is averaging 15.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 2.3 steals per game in the early going. Blakes has excellent peripherals, which keep the floor high. He has between 27 and 40 DraftKings points in every game this season.

Pop Isaacs, Creighton ($7.7K)

If you want to know how Creighton could lose to Notre Dame and beat Kansas in the span of a week, look no further than Pop. Isaacs only took five shots against the Irish. He took 15 against Kansas. Creighton needs Isaacs to shoot. When he shoots, he gets in a rhythm and can put up some huge numbers. Pop has at least 25 points in three of the last five games.

Isaiah Watts, Washington State ($6.5K)

Cedric Coward is expected to be out again, so Watts should get another start. He has at least 27 DraftKings points in all four of his starts this season. As long as Coward is out, Watts is a strong play. He's still a bargain for this price.

Jeremiah Wilkinson, California ($5.4K)

Wilkinson has scored 83 points in his four starts so far for Cal. He doesn't do much aside from score, but at this price, we don't need him to. Wilkinson is a smooth shooter. We haven't seen a cold streak from him. We shouldn't see one against Stanford either.

Also consider: Andrej Stojakovic, California ($8K); Nate Calmese, Washington State ($7.8K); Emanuel Sharp, Houston ($7.1K); Alvaro Cardenas, Boise State ($6.8K); Chibuzo Agbo, USC ($6.5K); Zoom Diallo, Washington ($5.8K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Maxime Raynaud, Stanford ($9.1K)

Raynaud is the only player on the slate with the potential for 60 DraftKings points. He has already hit that mark once this year. This is not an easy matchup with Cal, but I'll trust the guy with those gaudy averages.

Malique Ewin, Florida State ($6.9K)

Ewin hasn't managed to keep his minutes consistent, but the scoring has been. He has scored in double figures in five straight and six of the last seven after getting shut out in the opener. He obliterated the LSU front earlier this week with 17 points and 17 rebounds. At this price, it's worth seeing if he can do it again.

Mady Sissoko, California ($5.5K)

Cal is going to need the Michigan State transfer to grapple with Raynaud. Sissoko is still a strong rebounder as he was at Michigan State, but is more polished on offense this year. His minutes have stayed consistently in the mid-20s. He'll put up good numbers for the price as long as the minutes are there.

Andre Screen, Butler ($4.8K)

Screen is going to have his hands full with this Houston front, but he's not much of a scorer anyway. He excels on the boards and still could since Houston isn't all that big on the interior.

Also consider: Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8.2K); Tyson Degenhart, Boise State ($7.4K); Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, North Carolina State ($6.1K); Wilhelm Breidenbach, Washington ($4K)
