The Las Vegas Raiders backfield has been a fantasy football nightmare this season. Many had high hopes for Zamir White after he finished last year as one of the top fantasy football running backs over the final month. Unfortunately, the former Georgia star has been a massive bust.
White is the RB70 for the year, averaging 3.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Meanwhile, Alexander Mattison has been solid as the starter. He is the RB34 this season, averaging 9.5 fantasy points per game.
However, both running backs have missed the past two games because of injury, opening the door for Sincere McCormick to take over as the lead running back. Should fantasy players add him off the waiver wire?

Should I Pick Up Sincere McCormick Off The Waiver Wire?
While Ameer Abdullah was the popular waiver wire add a few weeks with the injuries to Mattison and White, McCormick has been the team’s top running back. He leads the Raiders in rushing over the past two weeks, totaling 97 yards. Furthermore, the veteran has averaged 5.7 yards per rushing attempt over the past two contests despite facing two talented run defenses.

McCormick is worth adding off the waiver wire, especially with Mattison and White dealing with injuries.
Should I Start Sincere McCormick In Week 14?
Unfortunately, six teams are on a bye in Week 14, leaving fantasy players scrambling to fill their starting lineups the week before the fantasy playoffs begin. However, McCormick is a solid flex option, especially if Mattison and White don’t play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Antonio Pierce told the media he wants McCormick to get more work moving forward.
#Raiders HC Antonio Pierce on Sincere McCormick:
“This is a dude, he’s earning more reps. He’ll keep playing for us. And the way he’s running — tough, physical, hard-nosed, bouncing off, fresh legs… His style of play and physicality really showed up.”

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers have a solid run defense. However, they’ve surrendered 96 or more rushing yards and over 23 fantasy points to running backs in three of their past six outings.
