New York Jets running back Breece Hall has been somewhat of a disappointing fantasy option this year after being selected in the first round of most fantasy drafts. Hall is averaging only 15.8 PPR fantasy points per game this season and is currently the RB13 on the year.
Unfortunately, the Jets running back is also dealing with a knee injury that he suffered in Week 11 before the team's bye. Although the injury didn't keep Hall out of last week's game, his knee issue definitely affected his numbers in the loss to the Seahawks. He totaled only six PPR fantasy points in that contest.
So, is Hall injured or playing in Week 14? Should fantasy managers start him this week? Let's dive in and find out.

Is Breece Hall Playing In Week 14?
We don't exactly know when Hall suffered his knee injury, but it happened sometime during the team's Week 11 game against the Colts. Despite playing 84% of the team's offensive snaps in that contest, the third-year running back played through some type of knee injury. Now, it appears that knee issue will keep him out this week against the Dolphins.
Hall did not practice at all this week and is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game. While we don't know the severity of his knee injury, there's a chance that this issue could keep him out for an extended time.
Significant #Jets news for Sunday: RB Breece Hall and CB Sauce Gardner will both be listed as doubtful. In addition, LB CJ Mosley (neck) will be placed on Injured Reserve, ending his season.

He didn't practice at all leading up to Week 14, and with the team sitting at 3-9 on the year, the Jets could decide to be cautious with their young running back. Even if he suits up next week, he could see limited opportunities out of the backfield.
Should I Start Breece Hall for Fantasy Football Week 14?
With Hall listed as doubtful for Week 14, he will likely not suit up for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. As a result, fantasy managers should bench him in all formats this week. That means Braelon Allen will likely draw the first start of his career.
Allen has seen fewer opportunities in recent weeks and only has 18 carries since Week 9. However, he should be the team's top back on Sunday and could see over 15 touches in this game. Therefore, the rookie will come in as a low-end RB2 option against a Dolphins defense that has allowed the 13th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season.

As for Hall, fantasy managers should put him in one of their injured reserve spots once he is officially ruled out for Sunday's game. Hopefully, this is only a one-week absence for the Jets running back.
