1 day agoWashington Commanders kicker Zane Gonzalez has been signed to the active roster on Monday. Gonzalez has been elevated three of the last four games with Austin Seibert (groin) banged up. Seibert has been placed on the injured reserve and won't be eligible to return until Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys. That being said, Gonzalez appears to be in line to be the primary kicker for a few more games. Gonzalez was 6-for-6 on extra point attempts, but missed both his field goals during the win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Despite a bit of a struggle, head coach Dan Quinn said that the team is pleased with what they've seen from Gonzalez over this last month.
