Brock Purdy Goes Cold In Buffalo
2 mins agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy struggled in a 35-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. In a snow-filled Highmark Stadium, Purdy slipped and slid to a disappointing 11-for-18, 94-yard performance with no touchdowns and one fumble lost. He scrambled twice for four yards rushing. Almost nothing went right for the 49ers in this one, as they entered the game with a patchwork offensive line and Christian McCaffrey being ruled out with a knee injury in the second quarter, not to mention the snow which persisted throughout the game despite early-week predictions that it would let up in the first half. In a microcosm of the game itself, Purdy's turnover came on a pass attempt that slipped out of his hand before his arm started moving forward, acting as a microcosm of the game itself. Purdy seemed to show no ill effects of the shoulder injury that kept him out of the Green Bay game in Week 12. Purdy will look to bounce back in familiar home conditions in Week 14 when he'll face a quality Chicago Bears pass defense.
