Kyren Williams Rumbles For 113 Total Yards In Win Over Saints
2 mins agoLos Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams toted the rock 15 times, rushing for 104 yards and a touchdown, in Sunday's 21-14 win over the New Orleans Saints. He added nine yards on his lone target. Los Angeles ran all over the Saints this afternoon, totaling 156 yards on their 29 carries (5.4 YPC). Curiously, Williams wasn't utilized until the tenth play of the Rams' second possession, whereas fellow running back Blake Corum actually garnered the team's first five backfield touches. The rookie was efficient in his own right (8/42) but not as good as Williams, who ran for 6.9 yards per carry -- picking up chunk gains of ten, 11 (twice), 14, and 17 yards. It was just the second time this season that the former fifth-round pick has eclipsed the century mark. He'll get a Buffalo Bills defense in Week 14 that's been vulnerable to opposing rush attacks in 2024, letting up the league's third-most yards per carry (4.9).
