Ameer Abdullah Possibly Set For Second Game As Clear Lead Back
17 seconds agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Ameer Abdullah could have another chance to dominate the backfield work for his team. LV will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13. Team lead RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game with an ankle injury, and his backup, Zamir White (quadricep), has been ruled out. Abdullah surprisingly had a good outing in Week 12, scoring 17.5 PPR fantasy points by rushing eight times for 28 yards and catching five passes for 37 yards and a touchdown. He has a brutal matchup ahead of him, though -- Kansas City allows the least PPR fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. They've done well at stymying tailback receiving production as well. He's an okay-ish RB3/FLEX option in PPR leagues with 12 or more teams.
