From disappointing play to devastating injuries, the nightmare season for the Cowboys continues.
Jake Ferguson is the latest important Cowboy to miss time. He's in the league's concussion protocol. Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, Daron Bland, and more have missed games or are currently inactive.

Jake Ferguson Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Ferguson suffered a concussion in Week 11 against the Houston Texans. That kept him on the sidelines in Week 12 in Washington. With a short turnaround for Dallas' annual Thanksgiving game, Ferguson will miss a second contest.
Cowboys ruled out Jake Ferguson for the Thanksgiving game vs. the New York Giants due to his concussion. His replacement, once again, will be Luke Schoonmaker.

Luke Schoonmaker will be the Cowboys' top tight end against the New York Giants. Brandin Cooks (knee) is slated to return to the lineup, diluting target shares.
Jake Ferguson Fantasy Football Outlook
Jake Ferguson averages the eighth-most targets among tight ends but that hasn't translated to a worthwhile amount of fantasy points. Ferguson is the TE18 in PPR points per game, largely due to zero touchdown receptions.
Most targets without a receiving TD this season:
1. Trey McBride (80)
2. Jake Ferguson (58)
3. Dalton Schultz (57)NFL record: 147 by Diontae Johnson in 2022

Of course, his backup Luke Schoonmaker scored in relief duty in Washington. When Ferguson returns, he'll see plenty of looks as the second option in the Dallas passing game. Hopefully, he finds paydirt before the season ends.
Savvy fantasy managers are hanging onto Ferguson through the injury. In Weeks 14 through 16, he faces three defenses in the top five for most fantasy points allowed to the position.
