Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) has been one of the few bright spots on a team that's destined for one of the highest picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. He gets a ton of flak for his mistakes, but he's done well in spite of the odds stacked against him.
Unfortunately, he's dealing with an injury that held him out of both his Week 10 and Week 11 contests. The team had a bye in Week 12, affording him more time to rest.
So when is he coming back to play?

Trevor Lawrence Injury Update for Fantasy Football
He's dealing with an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. It's good news that it's not to his throwing shoulder. That would be much more serious for his long-term availability. Apparently, surgery was an option, but Lawrence opted not to have it. He also said he intends to play more football this season.
#Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence said that surgery was not off the table (during or after season) for his AC joint sprain injury (non-throwing shoulder).
He also said he wants to play the rest of the season.

The team plans for him to practice today, but no decision on his game status will be made yet. We could be waiting a few more days to get anything concrete about that. For now, it's in limbo.
#Jaguars coach Doug Pederson told reporters that QB Trevor Lawrence will practice today and the team will make a decision later in the week about his availability.
Lawrence has missed the last two games with a significant AC joint injury in his left shoulder.

It's probably pointless to speculate on anything definitive for now.
Trevor Lawrence Fantasy Football Outlook
It wasn't uncommon to see TLaw struggle at the beginning of the season and turn it up around the middle of the year. That happened this year as well. He had three games of 20 or more fantasy points in his five most recent games. He's been effective on the ground, rushing for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns on 4.5 yards per carry.

The addition of rookie wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. has also been excellent for his value. Thomas looks uncoverable, is already one of the best deep threats in the league, and is paired with the perfect QB. Lawrence is one of the best deep throwers of the football in the league. The Jags' QB1 is a QB1 in fantasy football when he returns.
