Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby (ankle) looked like one of the breakout stars of the 2023 NFL Draft class of running backs this season. It seemed like he was putting it all together, and had a few impressive explosive plays early in the season before putting it all together for huge games Weeks 5 and 7.
Unfortunately, a variety of factors have caused his production to fall down to earth since then, among them being a few injury issues. Hopefully, he can make it back to the field soon.
When will he return to play?

Tank Bigsby Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Bigsby re-aggravated an ankle in jury in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings. He entered the game designated as "Questionable" due to this injury, but curiously was allowed to play. Then, he hurt the same ankle that was already ailing. He managed just 23% of snaps and two carries for four rushing yards before being forced out.

He was able to practice on Friday, November 15, before being ruled out of his Week 11 contest. The team then had a bye week in Week 12. It's good to see that he wasn't placed on injured reserve, but the team is likely to be cautious with him. The details of the injury haven't been made public by the team.
His practice statuses for this week will be extremely important for determining his availability for his next game. It's encouraging that he was able to practice in any capacity on Friday before Week 11. That bodes very well for his chances of playing in Week 13, and it seems likely that he'll take the field.
Tank Bigsby Fantasy Football Outlook
It's somewhat difficult to evaluate this backfield for a variety of reasons. Both Bigsby and lead back Travis Etienne Jr. have dealt with a variety of injuries. The Jags defense is so bad that they're getting blown out often, causing the team to lean away from run plays. And the offensive coaching, personnel usage, and playcalling is highly questionable.

It's tough to deny that his efficiency numbers are eye-popping, though. He's succeeding despite all the struggles mentioned before and a terrible offensive line. Those may be too much to overcome in fantasy football this year, though. He should be rostered, but it's hard to justify starting him in his first game back from injury.
He has a series of tough matchups coming up, too. The Jags will face the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans in Weeks 13-14, who both boast good run defenses. They allow the sixth and eleventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. It doesn't help that he could be in a committee with ETN, who's experienced with catching passes. Stash Bigsby on your bench for now.
