Aidan O'Connell Has Full Practice Session
3 days agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O'Connell (thumb) was a full participant during Tuesday's walkthrough. This is a promising sign after the Raiders designated him to return from the injured reserve to open the week. The organization is hopeful that O'Connell will be ready to play in time for Friday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. O'Connell has been out since Week 7 due to a broken thumb. The Raiders lost quarterback Gardner Minshew II (collarbone) during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos. It seemed that Desmond Ridder might get a chance under center, but the Raiders plan to start O'Connell, assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks. O'Connell isn't a horrible option under center, but offers little streaming appeal against the Chiefs defense.
