16 seconds agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's encounter with Detroit. Per Damichael Cole of The Commercial Appeal, Morant is out with a left knee contusion. Memphis' star guard only just returned from a hip problem, which kept him out of action for eight games. He's already set to miss his 10th contest of the season against the Pistons. Morant's absence will elevate Scotty Pippen Jr.'s fantasy value. He produced a big 30-point double-double in the last game without Morant. However, getting the same kind of numbers out of him on Wednesday seems unlikely because Detroit allows the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing point guards.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
