Injuries and inconsistent play can make wide receivers tough to rely on, especially as the fantasy football playoffs approach.
Cedric Tillman of the Cleveland Browns has shown potential in the past but has recently struggled to maintain consistent production.
With a concussion keeping him in protocol, Tillman's status is uncertain, and his lackluster performances make him a tough player to trust in your lineup right now.

Should I Drop Cedric Tillman in Fantasy Football?
The 24-year-old had a promising stretch during Weeks 7, 8, and 9, posting over 18 fantasy points in PPR leagues in each game. However, after the bye week in Week 10, his production has tailed off.

In his last two games, including a Week 12 win versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tillman has tallied single-digit fantasy scores. His two catches for 28 yards in a snowstorm-affected game were underwhelming, and with his health uncertain due to a concussion, it is becoming harder to justify holding onto him.
If you are in a position where you need to maximize your roster for the playoffs, it may be time to move on from the Tennessee product. He could still serve as a low-risk flex play if you keep him for depth. The wideout's recent lack of production and the potential for missing Week 13 make him droppable in shallow leagues.
Who Should I Pickup in Week 13 Fantasy Football?
If you are contemplating dropping Tillman, some wide receivers on the waiver wire could provide more upside in Week 13.
Players like Noah Brown of the Washington Commanders, Devaughn Vele of the Denver Broncos, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling of the New Orleans Saints all have the potential for high upside. These players may be more inconsistent than Tillman, but they are intriguing prospects for a flex spot in the short term.

The receiver's matchup with the Denver Broncos in Week 13 could also be a factor in dropping him. Denver has been stingy against wide receivers, allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. If Tillman cannot play or you want to avoid this tough matchup, picking up a high-upside receiver like the ones mentioned above might be a better choice for the upcoming week.
Tillman's concussion and recent lack of production make him a drop in 8-10 team leagues. If you need to improve your roster for the stretch run, look for other wide receivers who offer a better chance of steady fantasy points, especially considering his challenging contest in Week 13.
