Wide receivers can be challenging to manage in fantasy football, especially when their role in the offense fluctuates.
Tank Dell of the Houston Texans has shown flashes of big play ability this season but may have seen his opportunities decrease with the return of Nico Collins.
While he is still a decent option for fantasy, his production has been unpredictable, making it harder to justify keeping him on your roster over other potential pickups.

Should I Drop Tank Dell in Fantasy Football?
Dell has provided a solid floor for fantasy managers this season, averaging 9.89 PPR points per game and currently sitting as the WR39. In Week 12, the Houston product showed his big-play potential, bringing in three of his five targets for 72 yards in a 32-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

He had a 39-yard reception and a couple of shorter gains, demonstrating his ability to stretch the field. However, with Nico Collins back in the lineup, Dell's target share is likely to decrease, making him less appealing going forward. While Dell's ability to produce big plays is beneficial, his overall target volume and consistency have been questionable.
If you are rostering the second-year player, holding onto him for now may be wise. However, if you need to make room for another player, consider whether you can afford to keep Dell on your roster. His role in the Texans' offense could still have some upside, but with other options available, he may no longer be a must-start in your lineup.
Who Should I Pickup in Week 13 Fantasy Football?
If you consider dropping the wideout, some decent wide receiver options on the waiver wire could provide more consistent production. Players like Jalen Tolbert of the Dallas Cowboys, DeMario Douglas of the New England Patriots, Xavier Legette of the Carolina Panthers, and Tre Tucker of the Las Vegas Raiders could offer depth at the wide receiver position.

Look for players like Jordan Addison of the Minnesota Vikings or Jameson Williams of the Detroit Lions for higher upside. Both players are in offenses where they have the potential to see plenty of opportunities, even as the second option on their team. While these receivers may not be available in many leagues, they could provide more immediate value than Dell.
In conclusion, it may be best to hold onto the 25-year-old if you can afford to, but keeping an eye on potential upgrades at the position is important. Dell's big-play ability is great, but with his role diminishing, you may want to explore other choices that offer more constant fantasy production for the remainder of the season.
