Jakobi Meyers Combusts For Big Yardage In Week 12
14 seconds agoLas Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers snagged 10 of his 15 targets for 121 receiving yards in his team's Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos. He's proven to be a surprisingly good player for how he's perceived by the general public of NFL fans, though he's still stuck on a poor team. The Broncos defense preferred to bracket tight end Brock Bowers, allowing Meyers to enjoy softer coverage. While Denver shuts down most receivers, the former Patriots WR has enjoyed two good games against them now. He'll face a presumably tougher test in Week 13, when he'll face the Kansas City Chiefs and likely draw the attention of elite cornerback Trent McDuffie. It won't help that he may have to catch passes from quarterback Desmond Ridder, since the starter from Week 12, Gardner Minshew II (collarbone), won't play again this season. He's still a must-start in PPR leagues though.
