Darnell Nurse Expected To Miss 5-10 Days
22 seconds agoEdmonton Oilers defenseman Darnell Nurse (upper body) is set to miss 5-10 days of action. He was hurt at the weekend against Toronto and won't play in Monday's meeting with Montreal. Edmonton has a busy week with four games, but it looks like Nurse could be an option on Saturday versus the Rangers. After struggling in last year's playoffs, Nurse has been solid for the Oilers, recording nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 18 appearances with 45 shots, 32 blocks, and 34 hits. Josh Brown will enter the lineup in his stead on Monday, making his season debut. Brown has recorded 610 hits over 290 career games but is very limited offensively, with 34 points (11 goals and 23 assists) accumulated.
