ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers running back Jonathon Brooks will likely make his NFL debut in Week 12, when his team will take on the Kansas City Chiefs. It's a tough matchup, but it's at least worth rostering Brooks if he's available in your league. Carolina has shown that they're a good running team.

Since Week 5, there's been essentially nonstop coverage of Brooks' potential return. He was the first running back taken off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft, so it makes sense. The Panthers' run blocking has been excellent, so Brooks could have a few nice runs here and there.

Good running backs in good running offenses should be rostered in the vast majority of leagues, and the rookie is no exception. He should be a priority add for all managers who have Chuba Hubbard, as he'll be an elite handcuff option moving forward with RB Miles Sanders (foot/ankle) unlikely to play in Week 12 and dealing with a significant injury.
He could have some standalone value as a pass-catcher, too.
