Will CeeDee Lamb Play Tonight? Fantasy Football Injury Update For 'Monday Night Football'

CeeDee Lamb - Fantasy Football Rankings, DFS and Betting Picks, NFL Injury News

Is CeeDee Lamb playing on "Monday Night Football" or is he out? Is Lamb injured or healthy for Week 11 MNF? John Johnson analyzes the latest injury news.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back) lost his starting quarterback, Dak Prescott (hamstring), to a season-ending hamstring injury, dealing a huge blow to his fantasy value. One of the top WRs taken in fantasy football drafts this season could end up as one of the biggest busts through no fault of his own.

The Cowboys managed under 150 yards of total offense in Week 11 and were easily handled by the Philadelphia Eagles' defense. They're emerging as one of the better defensive units in the league, but that still isn't an encouraging total.

Now, Lamb is listed on the injury report, so things could get even worse in the short term. Will he play tonight? Here is the latest injury update and outlook.

CeeDee Lamb Fantasy Football Injury Update

Lamb is dealing with a back injury, which initially put him on the injury report on Saturday. However, he's expected to play, and Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy indicated that the injury wasn't serious or a long-term concern.

As you can see from the tweet above, McCarthy is incredibly trustworthy toward the media regarding injuries, so fantasy managers should trust him and expect Lamb to take the field for Monday Night Football. There aren't any good pivot options at this point, so it's great news.

CeeDee Lamb Fantasy Football Injury Impact

Given how Dallas' head man described his injury, it's unlikely that it will make a big difference in his play. By far, the biggest controlling factor will be quarterback play. We know No. 88 is an elite pass-catcher, much like the previous great receiver to wear the same number for the Big D.

How the team does in garbage time will also be of vital importance. Dallas has a reputation for trying to even out the score once the game is out of reach, but luckily, that counts just as much as any other production for fantasy football.
