14 seconds agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III (hamstring) won't play in Saturday's matchup versus the Los Angeles Lakers. The 24-year-old recently returned to the lineup after missing the start of the 2024-25 campaign because of a hamstring injury. He's played relatively well in his three appearances, averaging 14.3 points. But with Murphy logging 30 minutes in Friday's win over the Denver Nuggets, he'll get the night off to rest before likely getting back on the floor for Tuesday's game in Dallas. With that in mind, the Pelicans are thin across the board due to various injuries, meaning Brandon Ingram, Brandon Boston Jr., and Javonte Green could finish as New Orleans top performers.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
