Alex Lyon Struggles In First Appearance Of The Month
2 mins agoDetroit Red Wings goaltender Alex Lyon had a rough outing as he returned from a lower-body injury on Friday against Anaheim, allowing five goals on 28 shots in a 6-4 defeat. The Red Wings battled out a 3-1 lead, but Lyon couldn't keep ahold of it, conceding three goals in the third period. The 31-year-old netminder has now dropped three starts in a row, with his record plummeting to 2-4-0. Lyon has a 3.13 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage for the campaign. He will give up the crease to Cam Talbot against the Kings on Saturday and might have to wait for his next opportunity for a while because Lyon hasn't been getting the job done for Detroit.
