Noah Fant Missing Another Game This Weekend
24 seconds agoSeattle Seahawks tight ends Noah Fant (groin) and Brady Russell (foot) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. It will be the second straight game that Fant has missed after suffering a groin injury in practice two weeks ago. The bye in Week 10 apparently wasn't enough to get him back on the field. With Fant missing another contest, the Seahawks will likely elevate either Tyler Mabry or the recently signed N'Keal Harry from the practice squad to provide depth behind rookie AJ Barner and Pharaoh Brown. Barner played over 90 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams with Fant out and caught four of his seven targets for 27 yards in his first career NFL game. Barner will once again be a TE2 sleeper with Fant out again in Week 11 against the Niners.
