Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (quad) remains one of the most frustrating players to manage in fantasy football. Similar to his previous seasons, he's dealt with a variety of injuries that have caused him to miss significant time, and he's on track to miss a good chunk of the season this year.
He played just 12 games in 2023 and has now missed five contests through just 10 weeks in 2024. He's one of the NFL's best receivers when he's on the field, even when he's competing with other elite receivers for targets. The Bengals desperately need him back, as they're now 4-6 and in danger of missing the playoffs.
So when will Higgins return and be back for Cincy? Here is the latest injury update.

Tee Higgins Injury Update
He injured his quad during a practice session leading up to his Week 8 game with the Philadelphia Eagles and missed that outing as well as Week 9's against the Baltimore Ravens. It's unclear how severe the injury is, but Cincinnati head coach Zac Taylor has described him as "day-to-day."

There isn't much clarity on his status for Week 11 yet, but keep in mind the team has a bye in Week 12, meaning it wouldn't be unreasonable for them to give No. 5 plenty of time to heal and hold him out of yet another game. Then again, they face a tough Los Angeles Chargers team on Sunday, and it's a must-win game for them.
Fantasy managers will need to stay updated on the situation, and he could be a game-time decision, meaning his status would come down to the wire. The Bengals play on Sunday night, which creates another frustrating situation for fantasy managers, as they may need to speculatively sit him in favor of a player in the early window of games.
Tee Higgins Fantasy Football Outlook
He's an elite fantasy option... when he's on the field. Part of the reason his situation is so frustrating is that he is a good receiver. At times, he's even been targeted more than his fellow WR, Ja'Marr Chase. Higgins would be a No. 1 receiver on many teams, and it's likely we'll see that next year, as his contract is set to expire at the end of this season.

He has great speed and excellent length, can make contested catches, and is a great high-pointer of the ball; he is a fantastic route runner, has good hands, and simply has the "wow" factor, making unbelievable plays that only elite players can make.

The problem with him has always been staying healthy. He's great at everything else. When he comes back, he's a high-end WR2 with WR1 upside.
