New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (concussion) wasn't able to play in his Week 10 contest against the Carolina Panthers due to a concussion he sustained in Week 9 against the Washington Commanders. He's played largely similarly to previous seasons.
He occasionally has big games but mostly scores single-digit PPR fantasy points each game. He's a big play threat, but downfield shots don't come very often in New York's offense. This, along with the inconsistency of the quarterback play he works with, makes it difficult for fantasy managers.
So when will he clear the protocol and be back for the Giants? Here is the latest injury update.

Darius Slayton Injury Update
He's still in the NFL's concussion protocol as of today. He was unable to clear it in time to play on Sunday, and he'll have to wait until at least Week 12 to take the field again. The Giants have a bye week in Week 11, which is a blessing for Slayton, as he'll have extra time to recover without potentially missing an extra game.

However, it's his second concussion of the season, so we may see him held out for longer. He had the same head injury in Week 1 but didn't miss a game. NFL teams have been cautious with players' second concussions this season.
Darius Slayton Fantasy Football Outlook
He was able to produce very well in Week 5. Against the opposing Seattle Seahawks' porous pass defense, he caught eight of his 11 targets for 122 yards and a touchdown. This big game came in the absence of the team's lead receiver, Malik Nabers, who was dealing with a concussion at the time.

One of his only two other double-digit PPR performances was in Week 6, which Nabers also missed. So, in games where the team had their lead receiver, Slayton has only racked up double-digit PPR fantasy points once. He's only a FLEX option in very deep leagues right now, and it looks like the Giants offense is regressing.
The loss of elite offensive tackle Andrew Thomas has caused quarterback Daniel Jones to regress massively over the past few weeks, and Thomas won't be back this season, so it's tough to see any Giants receivers other than Nabers be fantasy-relevant. Even the rookie has struggled to produce in recent weeks.
