Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (back) hasn't had the season he or fantasy managers were hoping for to this point. When he and his teammate, Nico Collins (hamstring), were on the field simultaneously, Collins stole the show while the second-year pro took a backseat to him.
Even after Collins got hurt, Dell didn't have a truly good game until Week 9 against the New York Jets, when he caught six of his nine targets for 126 yards. It was a truly nice game from No. 3. With WR Stefon Diggs (knee) having torn his ACL, the former Houston Cougar is in line for more work moving forward.
So, is he injured or healthy, and will he start in Week 10 on Sunday Night Football? Here is the latest injury update.

Is Tank Dell Injured or Playing in Week 10?
He was a surprise addition to the injury report on Friday. He logged a limited practice and was listed as having a back ailment. The details of his problem aren't fully known. However, he is expected to play.

The late addition is concerning, but it's possible he's had the issue for some time, and the team simply didn't want him to overexert himself before his SNF game. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring the situation, though. Going into next week, it will be important to see if the issue lands him on the injury report again.
Tank Dell Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
It remains to be seen how much work he will get moving forward, but the Diggs injury is massive for his fantasy production moving forward. Houston prefers to run a lot of 2WR sets, meaning plays where only two receivers are on the field, and typically, it had been Collins and Diggs on the field for those snaps.

Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik favors the defensive coverages 12 personnel generates. Now, there won't be much in the way of increased production for Dell. Of course, he continues to recover from his leg break last season and the gunshot wound he suffered in the offseason, so that's a factor, too.
This back issue hasn't been expounded upon much by the team, but fantasy managers should assume it's relatively minor. Dell is a good start for the rest of the season as a WR3/FLEX that should push for WR2 status as his legs heal.
