Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (hamstring) has missed four games with a hamstring issue that he picked up after burning the Buffalo Bills on a long touchdown catch in Week 5. He's proven to be a transcendent talent through his five weeks of NFL action.
He led the league in receiving yards after those five games, despite leaving the Week 5 game after logging just 13% of the snaps and two catches. His fantasy managers are certainly missing him, but he's now missed the required four games a player must forego after being placed on injured reserve, meaning he technically could return soon.
So, is he still injured or healthy now, and will he start for the Texans in Week 10? Here is the latest injury update.

Is Nico Collins Injured or Playing in Week 10?
There have been a string of positive reports coming out about Collins' injury and his potential status for Sunday's game. First, he had his practice window opened for his return from IR earlier this week. He was then spotted at practice on Thursday, and on Saturday, was finally elevated to the active roster.

It would be strange for a team to activate their star receiver the day before a game only to hold him out due to his injury. Houston plays on Sunday Night Football, though, meaning all the games except for Monday night's contest will have been completed by the time kickoff rolls around.
I’m no medical expert, but Nico Collins is already dancing the simplest of dances 300% better than a fully healthy and moderately buzzed Seth Payne.

All signs point to the star WR suiting up for the pivotal matchup with the Detroit Lions in a Primetime game in front of a national audience.
Nico Collins Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
He was putting together an absolutely monster season before he got hurt. Based on the five (basically four and a quarter) games he put together, he was on pace for an astonishing 1,928 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He'll immediately step back in as a high-end WR1 and, if fully healthy, has a clear shot at being a league-winner.

He's utterly ridiculous and seems to have improved over his already stellar 2023 season.
Welcome to primetime: CJ Stroud hits Nico Collins for a 75-yard TD on his very first offensive play.

In 2023, he already informed us in bold writing that he's a stupidly good WR. This season, he's one of the NFL's very best. You cannot bench him if you're lucky enough to have him on any of your fantasy football rosters.
