BALLER MOVE: Sit
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB5
ANALYSIS: San Francisco 49ers running back Isaac Guerendo has looked like one of the most explosive backs in the NFL in his limited action this season, so it's a shame that he's behind elite RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles), who's likely to make his return in Week 10.

Then again, 9ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is known for completely lying to our faces, by first saying CMC would play in Week 1 and only had a calf strain, only later to admit that his true injury was Achilles Tendonitis, then saying it was actually in both his legs instead of one. This led us to where we are now.
Kyle Shanahan said Christian McCaffrey's Achilles injury isn't new. Part of the calf injury he sustained in training camp. #49ers

He's shown that he's not trustworthy, but unfortunately for fantasy managers, he has to at least be listened to. They'll need to be sure to check the final list of active players to see if McCaffrey is active and can make his season debut. But even if he can't, Guerendo might not make much sense as a starter.
Backup RB Jordan Mason was cleared to play in Week 10, when the team will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so even though the rookie has been arguably more impressive than the second-string man, he may not get to see much work in this Sunday's contest. He's sort of a handcuff to a handcuff, which is a shame.
