It all comes down to this. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series heads to Phoenix Raceway on Friday for the final race of the 2024 season. A championship is up for grabs this weekend, with Grant Enfinger, Christian Eckes, Ty Majeski, and Corey Heim battling it out for the title.
Last year, Eckes won this race, but he wasn't running for the title. Instead, Ben Rhodes hoisted the championship trophy after finishing fifth in a race that wasn't particularly good for the title contenders.

Christian Eckes - $10.9K
Christian Eckes should be viewed as the favorite heading into this one, as he won this race last year and has four top-10s in his five Truck Series starts at Phoenix.
Eckes has 21 top 10s this season...in 22 races. He finished 32nd at Atlanta in the second race of the year and hasn't been outside the top 10 since. He also won last week at Martinsville.
Corey Heim - $10.6K
This week, it was announced that Corey Heim would be back in the Truck Series next year. With Eckes moving on to Xfinity, Heim will enter 2025 as the clear championship favorite, but will he be running for his first title next season or his second?

Heim has six wins this season, and he led 47 laps in this race in 2023 after capturing the pole. He couldn't manage a strong finish as he ended the day in 18th, but he showed he was capable of winning here.
Ty Majeski - $10.3K
Eckes and Heim are rightfully the favorites, but Ty Majeski led 48 laps here last year. Don't count him out, even if his best finish in three Phoenix starts is only 11th. Majeski has 13 top-10s this season and hasn't finished outside the top 15 in eight consecutive starts, with two wins in that span,
Grant Enfinger - $10.0K
If you had told me earlier in the year that this would be the Championship 4, I would have been ready to fully fade Grant Enfinger.
But Enfinger has come on strong in this No. 9 truck, winning two of the past three races and posting four top 10s in a row. He's got four top-10s at this track in the Truck Series, including sixth-place runs in the last two seasons.

Mid-Tier NASCAR Trucks DFS Lineup Options
Nick Sanchez - $9.7K
While he slipped a bit in the playoffs last round and failed to advance, Nick Sanchez had a really strong season, with an average finish of 9.6 with two wins and 10 top fives. He was fifth at Martinsville last week and 10th at Phoenix last season.
Layne Riggs - $9.5K
You can make a good argument that even though Layne Riggs missed the playoffs, his performance during the playoffs has established him as a 2025 championship favorite. He's won twice in the playoffs, taking the checkered flag at Milwaukee and Bristol.
Ben Rhodes - $9.2K
Ben Rhodes won't repeat as champion, but Phoenix offers him a shot to end the year on a high note. While he's never won here, he has five top-10s in a row at this track, including a second-place finish in 2022.
Taylor Gray - $9.0K
Taylor Gray was fourth-fastest on Thursday and comes into this weekend on a hot streak with three top 10s in a row. He's struggled at Phoenix during his career, but he has the speed this weekend to turn that around.
Stewart Friesen - $8.0K
This might be it for Stewart Friesen. Rumors have swirled that this No. 52 team will shut down after the season, so Friday could be Friesen's final race, at least as a full-time driver.

— Stewart Friesen (@StewartFriesen) November 7, 2024
Phoenix has been one of his best tracks. He won here in 2019 and has three other top fives here, including a second in 2021. His 24th in the 2023 race was his first time finishing outside the top 10 here since 2016.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Sleeper Picks
Connor Mosack - $7.7K
Connor Mosack was thought of as a road course guy before this season, but he's run well in this Spire truck at ovals in 2024, posting top-10s at Charlotte, Kansas, and Homestead. He was fifth in practice on Thursday.

William Sawalich - $7.6K
William Sawalich hasn't run great this season in his nine previous Truck Series starts, but he was eighth in practice, and he has a pair of wins at Phoenix in the ARCA Menards Series West.
Kaden Honeycutt - $7.5K
Kaden Honeycutt has performed well in this No. 45 truck, but he's finished outside the top 10 in three consecutive races. Still, he was 11th in practice on Thursday, and it looks like he can contend for a top-10 on Friday evening.
Jake Garcia - $6.4K
It's been a rough year for Jake Garcia. After three top fives and nine top 10s in 2023, Garcia has just two top 10s all season, and his average finish has dropped from 14.0 to 19.4. But Garcia finished second in this race last season, so I'm willing to take a chance on him.
Jack Wood - $5.8K
Jack Wood has yet to record a top 10 in his 12 starts this year, but he's in a solidly fast No. 91 truck and costs just $5.8K, so if you build a lineup heavy on playoff drivers and need a cheap punt play, he's an option.
