Week 10 Wide Receiver Outlooks For Fantasy Football
George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers - Fantasy Football Outlook
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens has flashed massive potential with Russell Wilson at quarterback and will look to make the most of his opportunities in a Week 10 clash with the Washington Commanders.
Pittsburgh traded for veteran wideout Mike Williams earlier this week, which could prove to be beneficial for Pickens' fantasy output. At this point in his career, Williams is not expected to earn a significant target share, but he should be able to draw some attention away from Pickens.
While Washington has not surrendered a ton of passing yards this season, it is tied for the fifth-most touchdowns given up to receivers through nine weeks. Fantasy managers should continue to feel comfortable deploying Pickens as a WR2 with plenty of upside on Sunday.
- Jorden Hill, RotoBaller
Calvin Ridley, Tennessee Titans - Fantasy Football Outlook
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley faces the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10 NFL action. Ridley was a droppable fantasy asset not even three few weeks ago, but has bounced back with Mason Rudolph quarterbacking the Titans, posting 216 yards over the past two weeks.
Will Levis has been named the starter for Week 10, and while Ridley has had success with Levis, it's been a lot more shaky with the Kentucky product dishing him the ball. Add in the fact that LA is fifth-best at stopping fantasy WRs and first in the league in total points allowed, and you have a potential disaster waiting for Ridley managers.
He will always have the big play ability in his back pocket, but don't expect much from this Titans offense and Ridley that has been mostly ineffective this season, especially with Levis at the helm.
- Ryan Goodman, RotoBaller
Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers - Fantasy Football Outlook
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston will look to stay hot in a Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans. The sophomore pass catcher was forced to miss Weeks 7 and 8 with an ankle injury, but he came back in Week 9 and put up 118 yards and a touchdown, ending up as the overall fantasy WR6 with an even 20 fantasy points.
This matchup may be a little tougher, as the Tennessee defense has been stingy against outside wide receivers so far this season. They are in the top third of defenses in terms of receiving yards and fantasy points per game allowed to outside wide receivers.
The Chargers may focus more on passing to their slot receivers and tight ends in this one, but Johnston still will certainly have a role and is always a threat to score on a deep ball. He has a lower floor than usual this week, but a similar ceiling.
