Running Back Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 11: Top Free Agent Adds Include Audric Estime, Jaylen Warren, Tyler Allgeier, Tyjae Spears

Audric Estime - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire

10 weeks of the regular season are now complete, as you launch into the planning process for Week 11 roster construction. You have successfully maneuvered beyond a collection of challenges while progressing through the regular season, as injuries and other unexpected developments have presented obstacles in your pathway toward the postseason.

You now have three additional bye weeks to contend with as players from 16 teams will be affected during Weeks 11-14. That includes running backs from Arizona, Carolina, Tampa Bay, and the New York Giants, who will be impacted this week. This ensures that anyone with James Conner, Tyrone Tracy Jr.Rachaad White, Bucky Irving, or Chuba Hubbard contained on their rosters should avoid starting those backs.

A pair of six team bye weeks are also looming in Weeks 12 and 14, and it will be beneficial to prepare now for those impending absences that will deplete your starting options. This article will help you navigate these approaching hurdles by locating the best options on your Week 11 waiver wires. After finishing this breakdown on running backs, you can also find fantasy football waiver wire pickups at other positions. Good luck in your Week 11 matchups.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2024:

Upcoming Bye Weeks Schedule

  • Week 11:  Arizona, Carolina, New York Giants, Tampa Bay
  • Week 12:  Atlanta, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, New Orleans, New York Jets
  • Week 14: Baltimore, Denver, Houston, Indianapolis, New England, Washington

Tier 1: Front-Runners - Week 11 Waiver Wire Running Backs

Prioritize These Running Backs On Waiver Wires

Tier 1 Team Rostered
Audric Estime Denver Broncos 3%
Jaylen Warren Pittsburgh Steelers 51%
Tyler Allgeier Atlanta Falcons 43%
Ray Davis Buffalo Bills 30%
Tyjae Spears Tennessee Titans 46%

Audric Estime, Denver Broncos - 3% Rostered

Audric Estime's rising involvement in Denver’s offense from Weeks 6-9 had elevated him into consideration as a viable stash candidate. He now emerges among this week’s Tier 1 options after operating as the Broncos’ lead back in Week 10.

Estime sustained an ankle injury during Denver’s season opener which sidelined him until the Broncos hosted the Chargers in Week 6. He re-emerged in Week 6 and accumulated 20 snaps during the Bronco’s next four matchups. He also carried 13 times (3.3 per game), while assembling 81 yards (20.3 per game), and averaging 6.2 yards per attempt.

However, Estime’s workload increased significantly in Week 10, as he led Denver’s backfield in snap share (46%), attempts (14), and rushing yards (53). Estime’s results easily surpassed his previous season-highs in each category.

Javonte Williams was relegated to a season-low 29% snap share and manufactured just one rushing yard on his only attempt. Jaleel McLaughlin also registered a season-low snap share (13%), while being limited to 12 rushing yards with his two attempts. Williams also ran nine routes and collected both of his targets.

Estime’s ascending role and the precipitous decline in touches by Williams and McLaughlin have vaulted Estime atop this week’s waiver wire priorities.

Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers - 51% Rostered

Jaylen Warren continues to resuscitate what began as a highly disappointing season while emerging as an RB2/RB3 option for fantasy managers. Warren attained a 35.5% snap share from Weeks 1-3 while accumulating 19 touches and 82 total yards. He also averaged just 4.7 attempts/18.0 rushing yards per game and attained a 7.0% target share.

He also sustained a knee injury that sidelined him in Weeks 4-5, before he resurfaced in Week 6. However, Warren has operated with a 45.4% snap share since Week 7.

Warren has also accumulated 35 attempts (11.7 per game), 156 rushing yards (52 per game), and six carries inside the red zone. He has also run 41 routes, while his target share has risen to 11.1%.

Warren also attained a 45% snap share in Week 10, while establishing season highs in attempts (14), and a team-high 66 rushing yards. He also rose to 11th in rush percentage over expected (42.9%) according to Next Gen Stats, while running 13 routes and collecting both of his targets.

Warren will continue to operate in a rotation with Najee Harris who suffered an ankle injury but also re-entered the game. The timeshare should not impede Warren from securing favorable workloads while elevating among the top three backs to target from your waiver wires.

Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons - 43% Rostered

Tyler Allgeier's ongoing role as Atlanta’s RB2 keeps him positioned to seize a substantial workload if Bijan Robinson is sidelined for any reason. It also makes Allgeier the consummate handcuff if you utilize Robinson as your RB1

Allgeier has also proven that he can perform proficiently when he functions with an expanded workload. Allgeier has operated with a 31.5% snap share since Week 4. He has also accrued 66 attempts (9.4 per game), 323 rushing yards (46.1 per game), and 15 carries inside the red zone.

That includes the season-high numbers that Allgeier secured in Week 6. when he rose to fourth in attempts (18), fifth in rushing yards (105), and 11th in rush yards over expected per attempt (0.97) according to Next Gen Stats. Allgeier also eclipsed 11+ attempts for the third time this season while also securing his third-highest yardage total (59).

Allgeier’s touch totals will continue to fluctuate while Robinson operates as Atlanta’s primary back. However, Allgeier will vault into temporary lead-back duties if Robinson is sidelined for any reason.

Allgeier would capture a sizable workload in that scenario while delivering RB1 output to fantasy managers. That supplies a critical insurance policy to anyone who has Robinson contained on their rosters.

Ray Davis, Buffalo Bills - 30% Rostered

Ray Davis does not pose a threat to James Cook’s role as Buffalo’s RB1. However, Davis remains an enticing roster option who has delivered evidence that he can generate favorable numbers when operating with a sizable workload. His recent performances could also propel him to an expanded role within the Bills’ backfield during the upcoming weeks.

Davis ascended into a feature-back role during Week 6 when a problematic toe forced Cook to the sideline. Davis secured a season-high 58% snap share while accumulating 23 touches and 152 total yards. Davis also finished third overall with 20 attempts, eighth in rushing yards (97), and fifth in yards after contact (62).

Davis also accumulated 35 attempts/187 rushing yards from Weeks 6-9, while soaring to fourth in receiving yards (131). He also assembled 90 total yards in Week 9, including a league-high 70 yards as a receiving weapon.

Davis operated with a 15% snap share when Buffalo traveled to Indianapolis in Week 10. He also accumulated three carries, six rushing yards, and ran six routes, but was not targeted by Josh Allen.

However, those results should not discourage you from seizing Davis if you have Cook contained on their rosters. He could also emerge as a starting option for all other managers if his workload expands during Buffalo’s remaining matchups.

Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans - 46% Rostered

Tyjae Spears has contended with multiple health issues that have conspired to limit his involvement while contributing to his underwhelming production. However, Spears now makes his first appearance of the season in this column after re-emerging from a three-game absence in Week 10.

Spears sustained an ankle injury in Week 2 and operated with a 38.1% snap share from Weeks 1-4. Spears also averaged 6.8 attempts/21.8 rushing yards/3.0 targets per game during that sequence.

Spears also suffered a hamstring injury which kept him sidelined in Weeks 7-9. However, Spears returned to secure a 47% snap share when the Titans visited the Chargers in Week 10. He also carried seven times and led the Titans with a season-high 47 rushing yards. He also ran 12 routes and captured all three of his targets from Will Levis.

Spears has regained his role as Tennessee’s RB2 behind Tony Pollard and should ascend into RB3/flex territory if he can achieve sustained health. Spears will also launch into a larger workload if Pollard is unavailable during any remaining matchups.

Tier 2: In The Running - Week 11 Waiver Wire Running Backs

These Running Backs Could Become Assets For Your Rosters

Tier 2 Team Rostered
Zach Charbonnet Seattle Seahawks 46%
Gus Edwards Los Angeles Chargers 17%
Cam Akers Minnesota Vikings 14%
Braelon Allen New York Jets 32%
Blake Corum Los Angeles Rams 16%

Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks - 46% Rostered

Zach Charbonnet has maintained a consistent presence in this column due to his unchallenged role as Kenneth Walker III's direct backup. This positions Charbonnet to function as Seattle’s RB1 if Walker is forced to the sideline. Charbonnet’s proficiency as a three-down back also allows him to operate as a workhorse back, without sharing touches with another member of the Seahawks backfield.

That scenario occurred in Weeks 2 and 3 after Walker encountered an oblique injury. Charbonnet soared to the league lead with a 90.5% snap share during Walker’s two-game absence, including a league-best 95.5% share in Week 2.

Charbonnet also accumulated 32 attempts (16.0 per game), and 129 rushing yards (64.5 per game), while rising to fifth in yards after contact (113), and accruing five attempts inside the red zone.

Charbonnet also paced all backs in routes run (62), garnered a 12% target share, and finished sixth in points per game (21.8).  Since Walker returned in Week 4, Charbonnet has secured a 38.4% snap share while averaging six touches/30.8 total yards per game.

Charbonnet’s status as a top-tier handcuff has been cemented, as he can flourish whenever he operates with an extensive workload. Charbonnet can also provide fantasy managers with RB1 production whenever those opportunities emerge.

Gus Edwards, Los Angeles Chargers - 17% Rostered

Gus Edwards resurfaced in Week 10 to collect his first snaps since sustaining an ankle injury in Week 4. Edwards had been on injured reserve during his absence but was activated before the Chargers hosted Tennessee.

Edwards had operated with a 37.8% snap share from Weeks 1-4, while accumulating 38 carries (9.5 per game), and generating 113 rushing yards (28.3 per game). He also averaged just 2.97 yards per attempt.

Edwards ascended into a rotation with J.K. Dobbins in Week 10 as Kimani Vidal was relegated to healthy scratch status. Edwards also secured a 25% snap share, carried 10 times, led Los Angeles in rushing yards (55), and averaged a season-high 5.5 yards per attempt.

Vidal had been functioning as the Chargers' RB2 during Edwards' absence, but Vidal's prospects of sustaining that role have evaporated. Edwards has been re-established as the backup to Dobbins and is also the clear handcuff for anyone who has been utilizing Dobbins in their lineups.

Edwards is currently available in 83% of all leagues. The convergence of his improved efficiency and his ascension into a favorable role have launched him among this week’s Tier 2 options.

Cam Akers, Minnesota Vikings - 14% Rostered

Cam Akers emerged as the running back to target as Aaron Jones’ handcuff in Week 9. He also solidified his status when Minnesota visited Jacksonville in Week 10.

Akers was infused into the Vikings’ backfield equation on October 15, when Minnesota acquired him from Houston. Akers attained a 22% snap share during his Week 9 debut with Minnesota while assembling 46 rushing yards with his six attempts (7.7 yards per attempt).

Akers also operated in a rotation with Jones in Week 10, before Jones sustained a chest injury. Akers secured a 31% snap share, carried 13 times, and generated 38 rushing yards.

Ty Chandler did not register his first touch until Jones departed in the fourth quarter. He finished the matchup with a 14% snap share while accumulating four carries, and 18 rushing yards.

Jones returned to Minnesota’s Week 10 matchup although his status should be monitored in advance of the Vikings’ Week 11 visit to Tennessee. Akers and Chandler would share touches in a rotation if Jones were sidelined. However, Akers would garner the majority of those opportunities. He is also the back for you to prioritize as Jones’ handcuff if Jones is on our roster.

Braelon Allen, New York Jets - 32% Rostered

Braelon Allen's touch totals have been inconsistent during his rookie season. This has fueled surging enthusiasm followed by tempered expectations surrounding his standalone value during the year.

Allen assembled encouraging numbers in Weeks 2-4 (26 attempts/8.7 per game), (122 rushing yards/40.7 per game) when he was operating with a 33.2% snap share. Allen also secured a season-high 12 attempts in Week 8 but has failed to exceed five carries in four of his last six matchups. He also garnered a 24% snap share in Week 10, while accumulating seven carries and 27 rushing yards.

Allen's erratic usage does not diminish his placement among the league's premier handcuff options. He remains stationed directly below Breece Hall on New York’s depth chart.

Allen would launch into an extensive workload if Hall is sidelined. He is also capable of delivering RB1 output if that situation develops. That makes Allen a viable target on your waiver wires if Hall is operating as your RB1.

It also supplies the incentive for any other managers to include Allen among this week’s priorities from your waiver wire, as he has the potential to become a critical asset during your upcoming matchups.

Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams - 16% Rostered

Blake Corum's current workload is insufficient for you to consider placing him in your lineups. However, Corum is an unquestioned handcuff who could emerge as a valuable resource before your season has concluded.

Corum ascended into his role as the Rams RB2 in Week 5 after he was limited to eight snaps, eight touches, and 28 total yards from Weeks 1-4. Corum has now accumulated 28 snaps (9.2% share) while operating as the direct backup to Kyren Williams.

Corum and Williams are the only two members of the Rams' backfield who have registered touches during the team's last five matchups. Corum has also carried 15 times (3.0 per game) and generated 52 rushing yards (10.4 per game) during those contests.

Williams has secured an 88.0% snap share, which is 11.64% higher than any other back. He is also averaging 22.6 touches per game, and his extensive workload in Sean McVay’s offense supplies the potential for him to sustain a health issue.

That provides your incentive to add Corum if Williams is operating as your RB1. Corum could also emerge as an asset for any other managers compelled to stash him this week.

Tier 3: Dark Horses - Week 11 Waiver Wire Running Backs

These Running Backs Could Emerge In Your Lineups

Tier 3 Team Rostered
Jaylen Wright Miami Dolphins 6%
Justice Hill Baltimore Ravens 20%
Keaton Mitchell Baltimore Ravens 8%
Khalil Herbert Cincinnati Bengals 22%
MarShawn Lloyd Green Bay Packers 5%

Jaylen Wright, Miami Dolphins - 6% Rostered

Jaylen Wright has been included in this column on a frequent basis due to his enticing big-play capabilities. That has provided the potential for Wright to erupt for sizable yardage whenever he is operating in the Dolphins’ backfield rotation.

Mike McDaniel had not been incentivized to broaden Wright’s involvement in Miami’s offense before Week 10, as Wright’s workloads remained contingent upon the availability of De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert. Wright had operated with a 21.5% snap share from Weeks 1-9, while Achane and Mostert easily commandeered the largest shares among members of the Dolphins’ backfield (Achane 55.6%), (Mostert 40.6%).

Achane also led the Dolphins' backfield in snaps (37) when Miami traveled to Los Angeles in Week 10. However, Wright accumulated more snaps than Mostert  (9/8). Wright also carried five times, while Mostert was only deployed as a pass-catcher (three targets/0 attempts).

If McDaniel sustains his deployment of Wright as a rusher with greater frequency than Mostert, that would position Wright to launch into a temporary lead-back role if Achane is absent for any reason. Anyone who is operating with sufficient roster space can stash Wright this week, as he could still become an asset during Miami’s upcoming matchups.

Justice Hill, Baltimore Ravens - 20% Rostered

Justice Hill has performed effectively while operating as Baltimore’s primary receiving weapon from the backfield. Hill has eclipsed a 50% snap share in four different matchups while securing a 44.3% share since Week 1.

Hill was also fifth among backs in receiving yards entering Week 10 (272/30.2 per game) and was third in yards per target (9.7), 10th in receptions (25/2.8 per game), and 13th in targets (28/3.1 per game).

However, game scripts have fueled inconsistency in Hill’s numbers during the season, as he has failed to exceed a 38% snap share four times since Week 4. That includes his 35% share when Baltimore hosted Cincinnati in Week 10. Hill also ran 14 routes and collected two targets, but did not register any yardage. Hill also lost yardage (-2) on his two rushing attempts.

Those results were not a byproduct of Keaton Mitchell’s NFL debut, as Mitchell was limited to one snap. Mitchell will still emerge as a factor in the Ravens’ backfield rotation and Hill is no longer the unquestioned handcuff to Derrick Henry.

However, Hill’s role as Baltimore’s receiving back should remain intact. That sustains Hill’s viability as a flex option if you are managing rosters in PPR leagues.

Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens - 8% Rostered

Keaton Mitchell has been included among the Tier 3 recommendations in recent weeks. as his protracted recovery from a torn ACL neared a conclusion.

Mitchell was activated from injured reserve before Baltimore's Week 10 matchup with Cincinnati, which cleared the path for his long-awaited season debut. He was limited to two snaps during his return to the Ravens' backfield rotation.

However, that should not curtail your interest in adding him. His ability to infuse explosiveness into Baltimore’s backfield should result in an expanding workload. Mitchell seized his place within the fantasy landscape by erupting for a league-high 138 rushing yards and averaging a league-best 15.3 yards per attempt during Week 9 of his 2023 rookie season.

Mitchell also finished 13th among all backs in rushing yards (396/57.1 per game) and accumulated a league-high seven rushes of 20+ yards from Weeks 9-15 before his injury brought an abrupt conclusion to his season.

Mitchell has now surpassed Justice Hill as the running back to target as Derrick Henry's handcuff. Mitchell's home run capabilities could make him a highly productive resource if Henry is sidelined while rewarding you for your decision to add him.

Khalil Herbert, Cincinnati Bengals - 22% Rostered

Khalil Herbert was only rostered in 7% of all leagues before Chicago sent him to Cincinnati in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick. That trade re-launched Herbert into the fantasy landscape after his value had disintegrated in recent weeks.

Herbert had become a non-entity with the Bears while being limited to only six snaps from Weeks 4-9 and failing to register a touch during that five-game sequence. However, he should catapult Trayveon Williams and Kendall Milton on Cincinnati’s depth chart to seize an ongoing role as the Bengals’ RB2 behind Chase Brown.

Herbert only played on two snaps when Cincinnati traveled to Baltimore in Week 10. That was understandable, as the matchup occurred just two days following the trade.

Herbert’s involvement will increase as he becomes acclimated to the Bengals' offense. He will not pose a threat to Brown’s role as Cincinnati's primary back but should be positioned to function as a temporary lead back if Brown is unavailable for any reason.

Anyone who constructs rosters in deeper leagues can consider stashing Herbert, as he could emerge as a flex option after he has been fully integrated into the Bengals' attack.

MarShawn Lloyd, Green Bay Packers - 5% Rostered

This recommendation is designed for anyone who is positioned to stash a back that could become an asset before the conclusion of your season. MarShawn Lloyd has remained on injured reserve since September 17 but could be activated to Green Bay’s 53-man roster as early as Sunday (November 17).

Lloyd was selected by the Packers during Round 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft, after functioning effectively as a three-down back at the collegiate level. He accumulated 1,621 rushing yards (50.7 per game), produced 19 touchdowns, and assembled 452 receiving yards (14.1 per game) while leading all draft-eligible backs in missed tackles forced per attempt (0.41) in 2023 according to PFF.

Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks were elevated into expanded roles during Lloyd’s absence, although neither back provides the level of explosiveness that Lloyd can deliver.

Lloyd’s status should be monitored. It is also conceivable that he may not make an immediate appearance within Green Bay's backfield rotation after he has been activated to return from injured reserve.

However, Lloyd is an intriguing stash candidate if you are building rosters in deeper leagues. Availability will not be an issue as he is attainable on waiver wires in 95% of all leagues.
