Jhonattan Vegas A Safe Play At WWT Championship
9 seconds agoJhonattan Vegas has started to show signs of his former self in recent months. The 39-year-old Venezuelan missed a significant number of events over the last two years due to elbow and shoulder injuries, but he's found himself right back on track as he heads to Cabo. He's made the cut in ten consecutive events, including his third Tour victory at the 3M Open in late July, and his most recent start was a T11 finish at last week's Zozo Championship. Vegas should be in line for another solid week again at El Cardonal, as he ranks second in total driving, 11th on approach, seventh in lag putting and 13th in birdie-or-better percentage over the last 36 rounds. Vegas could contend for his fifth Tour win at the WWT Championship this week.
