Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) missed yet another game in Week 9 due to a hamstring injury. He's been dealing with a multitude of injuries this season, as he also missed his team's Week 6 contest with the Baltimore Ravens due to a knee injury.
He's also had "Questionable" designations for a few of his games due to his ailments. The team has done its best to manage his workload, but the injury bug spares no one in the NFL. Hamstring issues are also very tricky, as they can take longer than expected to heal and feel like they're 100% before they get pulled again.
So when will Robinson return and be back for the Commanders?

Brian Robinson Jr. Update
His team has a Week 10 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and while there's no confirmed reports on his status yet, the nature of the situation leading into Week 9 should be encouraging. He was a game-time decision, meaning he and the team weren't certain whether he'd be able to play.
#Commanders RB Brian Robinson (hamstring) is indeed going to be inactive today against the #Giants, sources tell me and @RapSheet. There was hope he’d play but his hammy didn’t feel right in his pregame workout. Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez will play. pic.twitter.com/kSpIsSjHkd

If he was that close to returning last week, there's a good chance he'll play in Week 10. Of course, there's always the chance for a re-aggravation, especially with this type of injury, so fantasy managers will need to stay updated throughout the week. Overall, things appear to be trending upward, though.
Brian Robinson Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook
He's been a very steady presence for fantasy managers despite his general lack of PPR upside. He only has nine receptions on the season but has rushed for 461 yards and six touchdowns on the season. He's scored between 10 and 21 PPR fantasy points in all but one of his games this season.

Commanders' offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury has also done a fantastic job designing run schemes that have allowed his RBs to succeed. When BRob returns, expect him to go right back to his lead role and provide RB2/RB3 value. He's a worthy starter in fantasy leagues.
